Dr. Gwen Cohen has been in private practice in Mahwah, NJ for 23 years, providing the township a modern and refreshingly friendly approach to orthodontics. Dedicated to creating beautiful smiles and improving the self-esteem of her patients, Dr. Cohenpresents her patients with the latest in orthodontic technology and themost advanced orthodontic treatments available. It is her ultimate goal to make her patients happy with the smiles they achieve.
With a passion for working with her hands and expressing her artistic side, Dr. Cohen knew from an early age that orthodontics was her calling. First in her class at Columbia Dental School, followed by a two year residency in orthodontics at Tufts University culminated in Dr. Cohen creating the orthodontic practice of her dreams.
As a testament to her commitment to providing excellent orthodontic care, Dr. Cohen is one of a select few in our area who is board certified. A board certified orthodontist is an orthodontist who has completed and passed a clinical and oral examination by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Board certification represents an advanced knowledge of orthodontics and is a demonstration ofDr. Cohens pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence in orthodontic treatment.
A native of Wayne, NJ, Dr. Cohen currently resides in Ridgewood with her family. She and her husband Doug have two children, Hannah and Dylan. Dr. Cohen spends her time away from the office with her family, enjoys traveling and outdoor activities including hiking and gardening.
