I was supposed to have braces for a year or so but this guy decided to pull two of my upper teeth to make room before I stopped growing. Due to his incompetence I had to wear braces for 9 years and I also had to visit this useless places weekly to get my braces tightened. I had sore teeth for 9 years, as if I had just gotten the braces put on. There was this woman there worked there who was was equally incompetent but I can't recall her name. She had the audacity to go off on me as a child when I made a comment on how bad they had messed my teeth up. I would love to give her a piece of my mind now that I am an adult. That being said I have horrible problems with my teeth developing due to the amount of strain placed on the roots for 9 years. I have to live forever with someone else's incompetence.

That being said I have horrible problems with my teeth developing due to the amount of strain placed on the roots for 9 years. I have to live forever with someone else's incompetence.

When I initially got my braces many years ago I would have given very good reviews. A few years after getting my braces off, one section of my permanent retainer broke. My teeth started shifting. I called the office...got fitted for a Hawley retailer, thought I was on my way to getting it fixed. The retainer was very uncomfortable but I wanted to fix it. After a couple of visits and what i thought was progress, Dr. Coffey asked me what I was expecting. I thought he was going fix the permanent retainer. He told me that fixing it was just about "VANITY" and should just wear the retainer.....for the rest of my life. I went through a lot of pain with the retainer, it was never comfortable. So....now, some years later.....my dentist and my daughter's orthodontist are saying I really need to fix the the problem where the retainer broke and where my lower teeth have shifted or I will have more problems when I am older. Neither one of them think it has anything to do with VANITY
