Dr. Rudd graduated in 1988 from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Upon graduating he moved to Southern California and opened his first dental practice. He practiced dentistry in California until 2006 when he and his family moved to Edmond and began working for the University of Oklahoma. During his year and a half there he managed the OU Dental School Faculty Practice, taught in the student clinic at the College of Dentistry along with treating patients of the Faculty Practice.
While working at the University Dr. Rudd realized his love was in private practice, therefore he chose to leave the University and started his second private practice. In 2008 Coffee Creek Family Dentistry opened its doors in Edmond for the first time and has been creating beautiful smiles ever since.
Id like to introduce myself briefly with this letter so I wont be so much of a stranger the first time we meet. I grew up in Idaho Falls, ID. Being from Idaho, I enjoy doing pretty much everything in the outdoors. I especially enjoy snowboarding, golfing, and riding dirt bikes. It was definitely an adjustment for me moving to Oklahoma from Idaho, but as Ive lived here for the past four years of dental school, I have come to love it and I am excited to stay.
I met my wife Emily in chemistry class during my undergraduate studies. I was doing my prerequisites to apply to dental school and she was doing her prerequisites for dental hygiene school. It just so turned out that her dad, Dr. Rudd, is a dentist. It was a match made in heaven! We got married exactly one year after our first date. Emily and I have been married for five years. We are excited to announce that we will be having a baby girl in November 2020! Weve enjoyed our time as dog parents, but were both ready to do the real parenting thing now.
