Dr. Carlos Coello graduated from Huntington Beach High School in Southern California. He attended California State University, Long Beach, where he majored in Chemistry and Pre Dental Sciences. Dr. Carlos received his D.M.D. degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis Missouri in 1989.

Dr. Carlos has achieved the titles of F.I.C.O.I. Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and F.A.A.I.P. Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. These designations are awarded to Dentists who have dedicated themselves to continued training and education in order to provide the most up to date treatment options and the best dental care available.

Dr. Carlos Coello is married to his Dental School sweetheart Dr. Karen Kaiser-Coello. Together they have two boys, Dr. Ryan Coello and Dr. Anthony Coello. With their two boys joining the practice, we look forward to providing excellent treatment to all our patients in the community for years to come.

Dr. Karen Kaiser-Coello is originally from Belleville, Illinois where she attended high school and was very involved in both academics and sports. She was a member of the National Honors Society and awarded the distinctive honor of St. Louis Post Dispatch Scholar-Athlete in 1976. Dr. Karen graduated from Illinois College in 1980 with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Karen was awarded the Gerald A. Lucas Prize in Biological Science and the Dorothy Hopper Award in Athletics in 1980.

After two years of Cancer Research at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Karen was accepted into the Dental School at Washington University in 1982. While in Dental School, she met her husband, Dr. Carlos. After graduating in 1986, Dr. Karen worked as an associate in St. Louis until 1989 when Dr. Carlos graduated from dental school at which time they moved to Florida.

Dr. Karen gives back to the community through her membership in the Florida Donated Dental Services program in association with the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Dr. Karen is part of a network of dentists and laboratory technicians throughout Florida that volunteer their time and practice to provide comprehensive dental care to people of all ages who, because of a serious disability, advanced age, or medical problems, lack adequate income to pay for needed dental care.

Dr. Ryan graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Ft. Lauderdale. He attended the University of Central Florida where he majored in Molecular and Microbiology. Dr. Ryan, received his Dental Degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in 2014 and he headed directly to serve in the United States Army Dental Corps.

Once in the Army, Dr. Ryan began his career at Fort Lewis. It was there he completed a 1-Year Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he received advanced training in clinical dentistry and applied basic sciences for all dental specialties.

He was then selected to go to Airborne School at Fort Benning with a follow on assignment to Fort Bragg to be the 82nd Airborne 2nd Brigade Combat Team Dental Surgeon. It was there he served as the 2nd Brigade Combat Team Dental Surgeon and as the Role II Field Hospital Triage Officer. While at Fort Bragg he obtained the coveted Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB), a special skill award for recognition of exceptional competence and outstanding performance in warrior and medical tasks such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care. Historically, the EFMB pass rate is below 18% making the EFMB one of the most difficult and prestigious Army special skill badges to earn.

In 2017, he was accepted into the Army Prosthodontic Program at Fort Gordon, Ga where he honed his skills in complex rehabilitations, implants, and digital dentistry. He graduated in 2020 as a Major and received his Masters degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for his work on long span zirconia fixed partial dentures under cyclic fatigue. Dr. Ryan earned his Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a board certification, in 2021. Dr. Ryan will continue his commitment to the U.S. Army working as an Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics at Fort Campbell, Ky.

After his Army commitment, Dr. Ryan will be joining Coello Dentistry as a Prosthodontist. Dr. Ryan is married to his college sweetheart, Nicole Reed-Hudson Coello and has two beautiful children, Elias Grant and Amelia Reed.

Dr. Anthony attended Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale. He graduated with the Class of 2010. Anthony completed his undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He majored in Molecular and Microbiology and graduated with his Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences in 2015.

After graduating from UCF, Anthony was accepted to Nova Southeastern Universitys College of Dental Medicine in Davie. During his post-graduate education, Anthony married his college sweetheart, Angela Coello, in February of 2019. He completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine and graduated with the Class of 2020.
