Owning a family oriented dental practice in her very own neighborhood has always been a goal of Dr. Fontecilla. Now that Coconut Grove Dental is open, Dr. Fontecilla is realizing her dream of providing an exceptional level of dental care to members of her community. As a dentist who is committed to open communication and patient education, Dr. Fontecilla is always respectful of her patients comfort and concerns. She develops trustworthy and loyal relationships with all of her patients by carefully explaining their dental treatment options and helping them make the best possible decisions about their oral health.

Dr. Fontecilla is a Miami native who received her undergraduate degree from Boston College. Following college, she graduated from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco with her Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery (DDS). After she returned to Miami, she worked in a private dental practice. Today, as the head dentist at Coconut Grove Dental, Dr. Fontecilla looks forward to helping each of her patients achieve their oral health goals.

Dr. Vianca Cabrera was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelors Degree from Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina. After graduating from Duke University, Dr. Cabrera returned to Florida and obtained her Doctoral Degree in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. Upon completing dental school, Dr. Cabrera moved to Boston, Massachusetts to pursue her chosen specialty of periodontics at Boston University.

After completing her thesis and over 5,000 hours of patient care, Dr. Cabrera earned a Masters Degree of Dental Science in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Periodontics and Implantology. Dr. Cabrera, a Florida board certified dentist, is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and Florida and the South Florida Dental Associations. Dr. Cabrera is further certified in oral and nitrous oxide sedation treatments and is Board eligible with the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Rebeca Viego was born and raised in Miami, FL where she attended undergraduate at Florida International University and graduated with a Bachelors in Biology. Rebeca received her doctorate of dental medicine at Nova Southeastern University in 2013. After graduation, she decided to further pursue her career and completed a General Practice Residency program at Albert Einstein Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.

Dr. Viego decided to stay in New York City where she lived andpracticed for several years until she decided to return to her hometown. Dr. Viego is certified in Invisalign, Botox, and fillers and is proficient in all areas of dentistry. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.In her free time, Rebeca loves to travel, work out, practice yoga, and cook.

Jose is a registered dental hygienist in both Florida and New York. He studied Dentistry in the Dominican Republic at UNIBE in Santo Domingo and studied Dental Hygiene with a focus in cosmetic dentistry at City University of New York. He and his spouse then moved to the South Florida area as they have been in love with it for many years. His favorite hobby is traveling around the world, having been throughout Asia, South America, Northern Africa, Europe, and much of the Caribbean. He also enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, and most importantly spending time with friends and family.

His goal, every day, is to help his patients learn better hygiene practices and overcome their fears. He wants to help them feel better about their smiles overall, which has a large impact on ones self-image.

Christina Salazar is a Miami native who has been working in this industry for over 10 years. What she likes most about her job, is caring for patients and working side by side with the doctors, here at Coconut Grove Dental.

Florencia M. Palma was born in Argentina. She has been working in this industry for the last 2 years but has been working in the customer services industry since she was 16 years old. She is currently studying to become a Hygienist because she loves dentistry and to provide care to patients.

What she enjoys most about working here, at Coconut Grove Dental, is that she feels she is able to establish a more personal connection with patients; due to the individualized attention the office provides to its patients. Fun Fact; in her leisure time, she loves anything that involves fitness and health.
