After graduating from St. John Bosco High School with a love for the field of biology, Dr. Cocchi furthered his studies in this field at the University of California, Irvine. While at UC Irvine, he was able to evaluate many different careers in health care. The close relationships with staff and patients present in the dental setting were quite appealing to him. After graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Cocchi attended the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry and graduated in 1986. Being a graduate of both major institutions of higher learning in California, Dr. Cocchi enjoys treating Trojans and Bruins alike.

Dr. Cocchi is married to his wife, Sandee, and they have three children pursuing their own careers at the university level. His passion, outside of dentistry, is anything Italian. One step inside of his dental office will confirm this in an instant.

Dr. Mark E. Cocchi is a local dentist with a focus on family dental care services, and he is committed to providing you and your loved ones with quality dental care now and for years to come. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Harbor Dental Society. He accepts most major indemnity and PPO dental plans. He is also a provider for Delta Care USA.

Eva has been the office manager for the entire 27 years of Dr. Cocchi's practice. Patients have come to know her as compassionate, knowledgeable, and accommodating. These admirable qualities of a health care professional become quite evident in the very first contact. She is happy to answer your questions, before and after treatment, to ensure that a proper level of communication and understanding are always present.

Cynthia and Sharon are our dental hygienists and have also been with the practice for many years. Their help in the area of preventative dentistry is invaluable in trying to avoid problems in the first place. Through dental cleaning and oral hygiene instruction, they create positive dental experiences for our valued patients.

Rosie is Dr. Cocchis chairside assistant and provides help in the delivery of restorative care to patients in need. In addition to this, she is integral in providing the proper level of sterilization within the dental office. Patients can be confident that their dental care is both safe and professional. Rosie also provides assistance with our Spanish speaking patients. Her help ensures that communication and understanding are achieved with our Hispanic patients.
