Dr. Coccaro was born in Staten Island, New York. He graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He completed a hospital based general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He completed implant training at the University of Miamiand advanced sedation technique at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Coccaro prides himself on keeping up to date with continuingeducation and furtheringhis skills resulting in a better experience for his patients. Dr. Coccaro is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Associationand the International College of Oral Implantologists and donates his time through dental missions.
Dr. Coccaro is directly quoted as saying: 'I love dentistry because it improves the quality of people 's lives. We enhance their smiles allowing them to eat well and improve their general health. It brings me great happiness to help people and see them smile'.
Dr. Coccaro is married to his college sweetheart Daria, they have two children Matthew and Emily and their dog Henry. Outside of Dentistry Dr. Coccaro enjoys traveling, sailing, cooking and staying active.

So glad that we found Dr. Coccaro. Had bad experiences at our previous 2 places. The chain place had rude people and poorly maintained equipment. Lepore Dental tried to "sell" me over $30K of dental work. Everyone here is great, and Dr. Coccaro does great work and is super honest!

Glad I found this practice. No crazy upsells on services and products. Very fair pricing and recommendations on services you need. Highly recommend Dr Coccaro and staff!

Our family started going to Dr. Coccaro many years ago, after he took over the practice from our dentist who we also thought very highly of. An old review of a dentist might be better than a new one, because I can say that the crowns and caps I really needed have stayed in good condition, have stayed in place, and have not needed replaced after at least 15 years for some and closer to 25 for others.

An old review of a dentist might be better than a new one, because I can say that the crowns and caps I really needed have stayed in good condition, have stayed in place, and have not needed replaced after at least 15 years for some and closer to 25 for others.

I've been through numerous dental practices and Dr. Coccaro is by far the best. He's not like the big chain dental practices, his names on the building and he stands behind his work. Having had major dental work, I can appreciate his attention to detail and his "perfectionist" type attitude. Dr. Coccaro and his staff are definitely the best in Tampa Bay.
