Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Tran will tell you that they are living the dream. They were both drawn to dentistry because they saw it as the perfect combination of art and science, and they also love helping people one-on-one. They met during their first year of dental school, and theyve been together ever since! Originally from Dallas, Dr. Nguyen decided to become a dentist because he was motivated to help people by improving their oral health. For him, the most rewarding thing about dentistry is developing unique and lasting relationships with his patients. He attended Midwestern-Illinois University for dental school and now takes several hours of continuing education every year through the Spear Study Club. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Central Coast Dental Society. In his free time, he enjoys going on adventures with his wife (our own Dr. Christina Tran), photography, traveling, hiking, and rooting for every Dallas sports team.
As a Santa Maria native, Dr. Tran is so happy to be practicing dentistry in her hometown and giving back to the community. If you have ever had your nails done by Steve and Jenny, then you have most likely already met her! Growing up in a nail salon and being a manicurist, she appreciated working on a small surface area and dealing with a lot of fine details, and this eventually led to her passion for dentistry!
Dr. Tran earned her bachelors in biology at the University of California, Riverside and obtained a masters in biomedical science at Midwestern University - Arizona. Afterward, she pursued a career in dentistry and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University - Illinois. This is also where she met Dr. Nguyen!
Dr. Tran is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry and wants to give everyone a beautiful smile they are proud of. She continues to stay current with the latest advances in dental care through hours of continuing education and is committed to treating her patients with only the best care. Today, she is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Central Coast Dental Society.
Outside of the office, she enjoys baking and recently started gardening. Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen also love hiking and traveling. And, he fuels her coffee addiction by taking her to new coffee shops around the world.

Best cleaning to date- EVER. The Dentist and hygienist are true professionals who took the time to explain my X-rays and the thorough cleaning process. So glad my teeth and I found their office! I walked out with samples and good recommendations to keep my teeth and gums healthy.

My family and I are big fans of this office! Every employee you see here is friendly, and easy to work with and we've been to 4 appointments here in the past Month, so i can speakfrom many visits! They are also really good at explaining what is going on and what they will do to help you fix it. We had tried 2 other offices in the Santa Maria area, with no luck. Then we found Coastal Valley Dental and have honestly felt so comfortable since then, and that says alot, because i have an anxiety of going to a dentist. They helped my 7 year old be calm during her cleaning and exam, she even got to pick through the treasure Chest. I would recommend this clinic to my own mother! Christina Tran has been the primary dentist we have seen at this office, but we've worked with many assistants here, too and we do not have a complaint for anyone, they have all made us feel welcomed and helped!

The lll day that cleaned my teeth was thorough and pleasant. The whole office is a positive experience. Doctor was nice, majority of visit is the office and the person doing the cleaning, good experience

I absolutely love going to Dr. Beall's office! I have had a complicated root canal and crown...no worries! Never had any pain during the procedure or afterwards!! The prices are totally reasonable and appointments are easily made and rescheduling is not a problem. The entire staff, from the lovely, friendly ladies at the front desk to the assistants, x-Ray ladies, the follow-up ladies that call to see how you are doing , to Dr. Beall himself are above and beyond! You feel like one of the family!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you go!
