After attaining her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Parvin went on to earn her doctorate of dental medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Doctor Parvin joined the Navy where she completed her advanced education in general dentistry residency. She has since been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor attained by fewer than two percent of dentists in recognition of her commitment to advanceddentistry.

Office staff and Dr. Parvin were welcoming to us as new clients, patient, professional, excellent listeners and made us feel our concern was heard. Also, gave options and set realistic expectations, as well as explaining next steps clearly. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking assistance with sleep apnea appliance.

People are sometimes anxious when it comes to the dentist. Coastal Smile Design's staff is aware of that anxiety and does a great job to put the patient at ease. Everyone is friendly and capable, answers any questions in layman's terms. We are grateful Dr Parvin was recommended to us for a sleep apnea oral appliance.

Everyone in the office is very nice, friendly and engaging. The hygienists take great care during the cleanings and Dr. Parvin always conducts a very thorough exam.

I was looking for a new dentist in the area and found Dr. Parvin through neighbor recommendations. She and her staff did not disappoint! Another great visit today with Dr Parvin and co - the Coastal Smile Design office is very clean and has a spa like atmosphere. Both of my teenagers had their teeth cleaned and their pearly whites look amazing. Dr Parvin checked for cavities, evaluated their jaw muscles to check for TMJ and reinforced to them that you should only floss the teeth that you want to keep. ;0) My husband and I also are under her care and I couldn't recommend this practice more highly.

This is not my regular dentist as I live across town. However, I was refered by another Dr. for a speciality issue. I thought the staff was very professional and personable. Dr Karen was very thorough and informative. It was a really nice visit! These ladies would be worth the trip across town!

My appointment was right on schedule - I did not have to wait! Dr. Parvin and her whole staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Parvin took the time to explain the whole process and my procedure. She was very caring and patiently answered all of my questions. She also gave me the pros and cons of several options along with her recommendation. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I highly recommend Coastal Smile Designs! Dr. Pravin and her team are absolutely amazing! This is the first dentist I've ever been to where i didn't leave in tears! They are very thorough and explain everything in detail while making you feel comfortable and right at home. The team helped me get my gums and teeth back in healthy shape and my appointments never felt like a chore, more like going to see some of my friends! I'm going to miss everyone there when i move!
