Dr Brent Bartruff is a proud graduate of the University of Florida. He graduated in 1994 with honors with his Bachelor of Science in Zoology. He then completed his DMD in 1998 from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and continued to specialize in Periodontology, graduating in 2001 from Louisiana State University.
Dr. Bartruff is an active member of the ADA (American Dental Society), the AAP (American Academy of Periodontlogy), the FDA (Florida Dental Association), the OWDS (Okaloosa Walton Dental Society) which he has previously held the position of President, and the Fort Walton Beach All Sports Association. He is also a past member of the Rotary Club of Destin.

Stay far away. They are criminals. They claim they take Tricare, but they make you pay the full amount up front. Then you never get your refund back. That is complete baloney and I have never seen a legitimate facility that had such a policy. My wife really needed the work done so against my better judgment I paid the money. They reimbursed us for the very small procedures but kept the refund for the $3000+ bill. They claim Tricare is supposed to refund us but the checks for everything else came from them, so yeah, they are lying.

Professionalism, caring, kindness, cleanliness, and fantastic periodontistry by Dr. Bartruff. Cathy and Kay are phenomenal hygienists, extremely thorough, and as gentle as is possible. I highly recommend this practice for excellent periodontal care!

I called this morning for an emergency visit due to severe molar pain over the weekend. I was scheduled in the afternoon and coached about the potential cots. When I arrived, I was immediately placed in a chair and prepped for an examination. Dr Bartruff came in carried out the examination and proposed to me that the molar should be removed, for several reasons. I agreed and was immediately prepped and the removal was done in minutes. They walked me thru the care and called in for my scripts and cheerfully sent on my way. I am so grateful that the staff got me scheduled in and for the Dr seeing me. The staff is always fantastic and Dr Bartruff is all business and a likable fellow. I like his decisive style and am confident he looks out for my interests. Dr. Bartruff and his staff are amazing! He has the best bedside manner, they explain everything they're doing and why. They genuinely care and put you at ease. I'm an extremely nervous patient, and couldn't really calm down during my biopsy, but he helped me laugh and get through it.

I gotta say I hate the dentist..But Dr B and his staff made my problem LESS stressful. Thank you...tooth gone. I can still feel my jaw/tonsil/ear...so NO numbness. (not like I've had before with another dentist/endo) no swelling. Thanks again !!! Everyone... <3

I am visiting the area and had an implant healing cap come out (2 weeks after the implant surgery). My surgeon's office said I needed to have a local doctor get it back in immediately. This office managed to fit me in on extremely short notice and helped get my implant back in order. I can work the rest of my trip and return back home to see my surgeon next Monday. This doc turned my bad day around! Great doctor, and the staff seem top rate as well. Very happy with my visit here!

I am one of those people that has a high level of anxiety when I walk into a dental office, even for a cleaning. Every staff member I came in contact with was so nice and understanding about my fears. They even have hot blankets! The receptionist was so kind and went above and beyond to help find the most affordable pharmacy to fill the RX. She even printed out the coupons. Can't say enough about the professional and caring treatment I received. I highly recommend this office to anyone who has anxiety or suffers from panic attacks at the mere thought of going to the dentist!
