Our practice was founded by Dr. Marie-Claire Tredinick, Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Tredinick received her M.S. and certificate in periodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
At Coastal Periodontics, you benefit from treatment with most sophisticated technology available, including digital X-ray, sedation dentistry, ozone therapy, platelet rich fibrin and LANAP gum surgery. Each step of the way, we discuss your options, answer your questions and follow up with you to make sure you recover quickly and safely.
In addition to being a dental implant specialist, Dr. Tredinick is highly trained in surgical and nonsurgical gum disease treatments and gum recession procedures. During your first visit, she will conduct a thorough oral examination, using X-rays if necessary. Afterward, she will discuss the procedure best suited for you and will always keep your regular dentist informed of your diagnosis and the recommended procedures.
We aim to make your visit as painless and convenient as possible by creating a personalized treatment plan, giving you options and answering all your questions before any dental implant or gum disease treatment. I found Coastal Periodontics via Google search when I was in need of a second opinion for periodontal work recommended by my dentist. The moment she got through examining me, Dr. Tredinick's confidence and compassion radiated, and I new this was the place to have my surgery. This decision was guided by the hand of God because when I had a health scare, she was checking on me often and advocating for my care! She truly cares about your total health and is like no specialist you have ever met. Oh, and her surgical skills are impeccable! Now, the staff needs a whole separate review and 5 stars of their own! They are unbeatable in client relations and make your day every time you go. They greet you by name, ensure your comfort every step, and truly care about your health and progress! You can be sure you will not be lost in the shuffle and all of your needs will be met. It's an office full of smart, kind, caring individuals!

I went in to coastal periodontics this week for a cleaning. While there I mentioned having a sore on my lip. Tammy offered to do a laser treatment on it which helps expedite the healing process. I'm not only pleased with the dental care I received, the sore on my lip was nearly gone in just over 24 hours. Which is incredible!! This treatment cut down the healing time and severely reduced the pain I normally experience with this kind of sore. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

At the recommendation of my dentist, I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Tredinick. Before the extraction, she explained well about my tooth/gum conditions along with the details of the extraction procedures. Dr. Tredinick did an excellent job and I didn't experience any discomfort during and after extraction. Her office staffs are very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend using this clinic for your tooth care.

I had a tooth break off that could not be removed by my regular dentist. Coastal Periodontics was recommended by my dentist for oral surgery. I was heading out town the following day and they got me right in. The extraction was difficult to say the least. They made sure I was comfortable and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them because of the quality of care and professionalism display by the entire staff. They really seem to care about the quality of their service. Thank you

Dr Tredinick was able to perform my dental implant when no one else was sure they would be able to because of the fact that my tooth was so small. She took the time to consult with others before making her final decision and it turned out perfect. Her office staff are also amazing! Jennifer especially! She is super friendly and talks to you like you're good friends. I definitely recommend
