Dr. Harrison is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and completed residency training in pediatric dentistry at Indiana University, Riley Children's Hospital. Dr. Harrison joins Coastal Pediatric Dentistry, having retired from the U.S. Navy Dental Corps after 22 years of service. Bob and his wife, Lori, have two children: Zachary and Lynley. Bob's part-time activities are devoted to alpine mountaineering, ice climbing and golf.

As a team, we are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment in a supportive, nurturing environment. We promise to speak candidly with you about possible treatments as well as any risks and associated costs of treatment, and how treatment can address your individual needs as a patient.
Our staff is highly skilled, uniquely trained and strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff members have specialized training, multiple certifications and years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Started using them when were first arrived in Onslow county because they were the only office that took our insurance without a without a wait. Now 7 yrs and another kid later, I still choose to drive an hour out of my way, paying out of pocket, to take my kids here because they are just that wonderful with my children! Kind, attentive, engaging...I wish I could be a patient there!

We absolutely love this office! The staff is amazing and friendly always! Dr. Bob is so amazing with the kids. My daughter is terrified of anything hurting her. Dr. Bob explains everything to her and calms her down. They are patient with the kids!!!

We love dr bob so much! My daughter is little and has stranger danger and he tries his hardest to make her as comfortable as possible . You can tell he loves his kiddos . We will be lifelong patients!

We love Dr. Bob and his staff! Dr. Bob was so creative while explaining my daughter's procedure to her, that she didn't realize he had given her the numbing injection! That is HUGE because she's the child you hear screaming down the hall at the doctor's office with just the thought of getting a shot! Thank you Dr. Bob!
