Don't expect to be sedated! I paid $437 for IV sedation. I told the staff and the nurse my expectations (as I have had the same sedation several times before). I had to go in for a "consultation" so the doctor could formulate how much medication I would need. I went in for the consultation to get the "magic" formulation (and paid for the consultation). At this time a history was taken including my medications and dosages. I asked if there would be a problem and I was told absolutely not. On the day of the extraction, I spoke again with the nurse who showed me a paper that indicated three levels of sedation. I physically marked off the heavy (twilight) sedation. While I was in the chair, I was chatting with the staff and the doctor. He numbed the area and went to extract my tooth. I told him, "Wait, I am still awake. I am not supposed to be talking with you and so aware of what is happening!". He shoved a block into the right side of my mouth which made it impossible for me to protest or clench down. He extracted my tooth with much emotional and physical pain to me. I was very upset at his lack of professionalism and his barbaric method of extracting my tooth under protest. I told him I was not paying for sedation I did not receive. He scoffed at me. I would NEVER go to this DDS again nor would I suggest anyone else to go here unless you want to pay for a service you will not receive and be treated by a person who is callous to your personal care and only wants to extract money.

Thus far not impressed. Called 3 times to schedule an appointment. Got thru the second time, was placed on hold 5 minutes then hung up on. Called back again only to have Brandy adamantly explain to me that my insurance does not cover extractions. I explained to her that fep bcbs does cover extractions, I was just on their website verifying that their provider was in my network. Again, she hurriedly corrected me stating that state bcbs does not cover extractions. I again explained that I have fep bcbs, she said "oh, fep bcbs does cover extractions". Yes.....I know. Firstly it is terribly rude to talk over someone, secondly, if your job is to acquire information from someone then listening to what they have to say is vastly important. First impressions are made with that first interaction with anyone representing a place of business. I have yet to even see the provider, however, if Brandy is any indication of the quality of the staff they employ then my expectations are low.

Dr. Johnson removed my wisdom teeth & I was very nervous considering I have never had any type of surgery before or had an IV in my arm. Everyone there was really nice & Dr. Johnson made me feel at ease about the whole procedure! Never once did i have any pain after! Definitely recommend him if you need any oral surgery!

The receptionist was very nice. Dr Johnson is the worst I've seen. He has no bed side manner. And refuses 2nd opinions. Even if your last Dr is 4hrs away round trip. I don't suggest this office to anyone! Hated it! My daughter left bawling bc she's in excruciating pain and the insurance approved this office so now we don't know where to turn. Should have his license revoked.
