It was one of the most pleasant visits to a Healthcare provider that I have experienced. I was really dreading having a root canal done but to my surprise it was painless. The dental tech was very knowledgeable about the procedure I was having. I was very nervous about having the root canal but she was able to create an atmosphere that made me feel comfortable. Dr. Ward explained everything about what he planned to do. He was quick and I didn't experience any pain. He had a great personality. Everybody that worked there were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I would highly recommend Coastal Endodontics.

I am a retired physician. My wife and I moved to Wilmington five years ago. My primary dentist referred me to Dr. Ward when my cracked tooth kept hurting. Dr. Ward performed a full diagnostic work up to determine the cause of the pain. I did not have pain all the time. In fact, the day I saw Dr.Ward the pain was gone. Dr. Ward advised watchful waiting rather than proceeding with a procedure. As a physician, I found this thorough and sensible approach refreshing, further increasing my trust in Dr. Ward and my family dentist for referring me. I am able to reach the office quickly in case the problem persists. This is the type of care I hope to receive from all the health care professionals I see here in Wilmington. Thanks, Dr. Ward.

Had one done a few years ago by Dr. Ward. I actually went back to work the same day, it was a good experience and getting ready to have another one done by him. I would highly recommend Dr. Ward and his staff

Top to bottom professional and welcoming. Dr. Ward and the entire staff were great. My root canal was painless and effective. Highly recommend this office and it's excellent customer service and dental work.

I was referred by my dentist since I had a root canal that had become infected after many years. I was in intense pain and Dr.Ritter prescribed me some antibiotics to clear the infection and even had a cancellation that allowed me to have my tooth worked on in a timely manner. The staff was very caring and professional and without a doubt, the best experience anyone could have with a root canal. I will insist on returning if I have any serious issues. Best in North Carolina. Highly recommended +++++

My name is Brendan Gordon and I am forever thankful to Dr. Miracle "Ward" for his confident Endodontic expertise but for assembling such a friendly and proficient staff too. My experience was perfect with no discomfort during or after the procedure. My expectations were properly set and the office followed up with a call to ensure that I was doing well. I recently had root canal completed at Coastal Endodontics with Dr Ritter. I had been to him previously for issues with a difficult tooth. He is very kind and clearly dedicated to his work. He will return to an issue again and again until he has that ssue fixed to his high standards. His dental assistant Kristen is so kind and also clearly skilled as well. She makes me feel very much at ease. There was almost no pain and what I could feel only at the very beginning was very minor. One day post root canal and I feel great! My previous experience with a regular dentist has been, at times, unprofessional and frankly made me a little scared to return to any dentist, but Dr Ritter and his staff have helped me to feel more confident in dental work in general. Last but definitely not least, the front office staff are very kind and organized as well. I have recommended this office probably 20 times to family and friends.

Kurt was obviously annoyed that we where taking up is precious time, then over charged us. Should have taken notes in customer service from his father, now he was a dentist.

I would highly recommend this location if you are in need of advanced dental procedures. Dr. Ritter saved my front tooth and was extremely professional and collected from start to finish. Very grateful to have been referred here and will be recommending them to friends and family.

Unbelievable pain free root canal procedure. Just cant say enough after hearing of so many horror stories from others. Obviously they had theirs done elsewhere. Dr Ward and his staff from the front office back deserve much praise. True asset to the Dental Community!! Thanks!!

Last week was the second root canal I have had completed by Dr. Ritter. The only pain I experienced was the soreness leading up to the painless procedure. Very cordial and explains the process as he goes and checks in for well being of patient. Highly recommend. N. Hoffman

Exceptional experience for my first root canal. Melissa did a great job explaining details of the procedure, and Dr. Ward did an incredible job and was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was doing okay. No pain at all, and if there is such a thing as a good root canal experience this office provided that. Thank you!

I think this is my second review due to a second visit. One word: "Phenomenal". Doctor Ward and Kristen did my second root canal at this location and they were top notch professional. ZERO PAIN and was in and out of there. Don't let others put the fear of a root canal if you have Coastal Endodontics working on your teeth. Best experience you'll have for that sort of work. Can't recommend enough. Professional, painless, caring, and overall perfect 10.

The doctor's are wonderful! The staff on the other hand need more than improvement! As most are today they are lazy and unwilling to make a patient feel secure when it comes to corresponding with your doctor. They don't do there job and cover there tracks so the doctors don't find out how bad they really are! Extremely unprofessional!!

Dr. Ritter did my root canal and let me tell you...... I am shocked at how much pain I DON'T feel! I've heard root canal horror stories and I was so freaking scared to get this done but I was also in so much pain that I had no choice. He got everything numb and I didn't feel a thing. I was super comfortable through the whole procedure. Afterwards, I expected to be in pain, cuz that's what I've heard, and I'm barely uncomfortable. Like my gums are a smidge tender. I don't even need pain meds of any sort. I realize that can't happen for everyone because every situation is different but I went from the worst pain I've ever felt to no pain. Thank you so much Dr. Ritter and staff, I couldn't be more thankful.

Dr. Ward is professional, yet comfortable and easy to communicate with. Melissa, his assistant ,is world-class. During the procedure, my comfort and well-being was a top priority. There is no pain the day after, but best of all, Dr. Ward saved my tooth! Thank you so much!
