Dr. Hefner is a 1986 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch at Houston. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1978 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Lamar University in 1982.
In private practice since 1986, Dr. Hefner is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Southeast Texas. He has been a resident of Nederland since childhood and lives there with his wife and children.
Dr. Ford graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch at Houston in 1986. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1979 and attended Lamar University for his undergraduate studies.
Dr. Farrar is a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston. She grew up in Caldwell, Texas and attended Texas A & M University, where she graduated with honors in 2002.
She began practicing dentistry in College Station before moving to Southeast Texas in 2007 and joining Dr. Ford and Hefner in practice. Dr. Farrar is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Southeast Texas. Dr. Farrar and her family live in Port Neches.

Awesome experience with Coastal Dental Care today! It had been two years since my last cleaning and I was a little concerned. Bich was my hygienist and she did an outstanding job taking care of me. She was very personable and took the time to explain the process as she worked and did such a fantastic job with the cleaning. Dr. Ford came in and reviewed the x-rays, noticed something a little out of the ordinary below the gum line, and was kind enough to review that with me and refer me to a specialist for an additional consultation. Can't say enough about Coastal Dental Care from their entire staff of friendly, caring folks. Just a wonderful experience!

I went to get a cleaning in January and my hygienist did an awesome job. She also gave me some excellent pointers. Today I had some fillings done. Dr. Ford did a GREAT job. This is the MOST professional and friendly place to get your dental work done. There was a hiccup with my change of insurance and the office staff were very helpful at getting it straighten out. I highly recommend Dr. Ford and all the staff of Coastal Dental. I just went for some work today. Dr. Ford and his staff at Coastal Dental are the best. Always friendly and welcoming. Very professional taking time to explain the procedure and the after care. I love this place and the people. I highly recommend Coastal Dental !!

Dr. Ford is amazing. Very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things. Donna Kay, hygienist, is awesome as well. Four stars because they no longer accept my insurance but I like them that much so I just pay the out of network difference:(.
