I had a tooth, that had a root canal job years ago, and a cap. It started to rot and I had a severe infection, Dr Michael Johnson took care to give me nearly painless injections to numb my mouth, removed the tooth and the roots which had a metal rod, and was definitely careful, and although when the the shots wore off, I had a strong pain reliever and antibiotic prescribed, and I was able to go home and even though I have pain( this was done this morning). I am feeling much better. If I ever need oral surgery again, I will call him. Excellent care

My 16 year old son just got several wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Maxwell. Not only is Dr. Maxwell thorough in explanation he is kind, friendly and actually very cute if I do say so myself. The entire staff was patient, kind, helpful and efficient. Dr. Maxwell personally called later that day to check on my son I haven't experienced the actual Dr. Calling to check on their patient in very long time that actually sounded like he was genuinely asking out of concern for patient. So I will definitely be choosing them as my dental implant place to be as that fact alone was enough for me to decide they were a great place to go for such needs.

I (Jo Fesler) have been a patient of Dr. Eckert's for nearly 30 years and am very grateful to have found him. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist. As a matter of fact, I hate it and am always stressed no matter what procedure is required, but Dr. Eckert is very kind and gentle and always puts me at ease. He is an amazing surgeon who truly cares for his patients.

My husband was referred here by Sayebrook dental office. The appointment was at 1pm we got here at 12:30pm there is NO ONE HERE.. doors are locked! How extremely unprofessional! Then at 1:14pm, here come all the hygienist and office workers piling out of one vehicle. When you call the office, they are saying they'll be out for lunch until 12:45. Well 30 minutes after 12:45... 15 minutes after my husbands scheduled appointment they showed up. I walk in the office we are talking to one lady when the other white.. blond/black hair .. 80's hair style.. heavy set lady had the audacity to "shhhhh" the lady we were talking to because she was on the phone. What a joke. Upon calling more reputable oral surgeons in the area.. they'd never heard of this place. Needless to say after reading all the other shady google reviews about how they handle insurance claims combined with the extremely unprofessional staff we left. Your reputation is everything. Be on time and be professional

No one likes to go to the regular dentist, and certainly no one likes to go to the oral surgeon to get a tooth pulled.....but if you need such a procedure, I can't imagine a better place to get it done other than Coastal Carolina Oral & Max Surgery. Dr. Johnson was fantastic. He just makes you feel so calm. When I had my tooth pulled, I thought it he was just feeling around, but he had already extracted it - I didn't feel a thing. Plus he is surrounded by great techs such as Jen and Wes who just add the the calming environment. I wish Dr. Johnson could be my regular dentist, but of course that would be a waste of his talents. While I hope I don't have to return again, if I do, I will certainly want to be a repeat patient of Dr. Johnson!

This past week I had two teeth pulled. I was so nervous but Dr. Eckert was amazing! His whole team was so encouraging and friendly! Especially Sam and Crystal! This is hands down the best experience I've had dealing with my teeth (and I've had a bunch), it's all thanks to this amazing team! Thank you Sam and Crystal! You two ladies are awesome! And Dr. Eckert thank you for everything!

no one likes to go to the dentist, but if you have to go this is the only place I would go to. the entire staff is wonderful. and Dr Eckert is great, he squeezed me in to an already full schedule so I would no longer be in pain. my nurses Becky and Samantha took great care of me.

I have enlisted the help and care of Dr. Cofer and his crew twice now and am very fortunate to have been referred to him. His expertise/ability/compassion make him the only choice for any oral surgery as far as I'm concerned. Get piece of mind, see Dr. Cofer and his staff.

My experience with Coastal Carolina Oral Surgery was excellent. My molar extraction went smoothly and efficiently. Everyone I came into contact with was very pleasant and professional. Patrick prepped me and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Dr. Cofer came in a spoke to me briefly. Then they put me out, thankfully. Today, 24 hours later, I have no pain and slept well last night. I came home with complete written instructions, prescriptions, and extra gauze in case I needed it. Thank you to everyone there.

My husband had a wonderful experience with Dr. Cofer and his staff. His surgery for teeth removal and follow-up surgery for the implants went extremely well. We are so very pleased with the decision to have this procedure done. We highly recommend this practice to everyone !

This is my second procedure with Dr. Maxwell. I chose him because my wife had a tooth surgically removed and I saw how nice and caring the entire staff was to both of us. I've since had two procedures where the doctor removed a molar and at the same time put in an implant where I was missing a tooth both under anesthesia. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Maxwell and the entire staff here. Although It's completely out of pocket, they always try my insurance anyway. Believe me, it's money well spent!

I had a tooth that was scheduled to be removed however started giving me terrible pain and had to be emergently removed. Beach Oral Surgery was able to get me in quickly and Dr. Maxwell and his assistant Crystal were AMAZING!!

Went to coastal Carolina oral for a wisdom teeth removal. All four were impacted but the surgery was quick and easy for me. Everyone there is so kind and inviting and answered any questions or concerns I had. After my surgery the doctor was consistently checking up on me making sure everything felt good. If you need to get your wisdom teeth out, I would highly recommend coming here.

Costal Carolina is a great Oral & Maxillofacial surgery center. Dr Maxwell and his assistant Crystal were professional and kind. They made me feel at ease during the procedure . I highly recommend Dr Maxwell for any oral surgery needs.

My 85 year old Mom had all her bottom teeth extracted in two separate sessions and the care by the entire staff has been great start to finish. The procedures themselves were not bad for her at all. She has seen the surgeon (Dr. Harsha) for each follow up and adjustment. He is a straight shooter, but so thorough in possible options and courses of action for dentures versus implants. She will listen to him better than me and I appreciate the time and care he takes in explaining pros and cons. And there have not been additional charges for these adjustment and assessment visits post extractions, which seems most fair. We are fans!

Had implants inserted by Dr. Michael Johnson. He explained everything beforehand and the procedure went well. The staff at both offices I visited were very courteous and very professional in every way. Would definitely recommend him and this practice for anyone considering implants or any dental surgery.
