Dr. Maddocks graduated from Northwestern University in 1983. He comes from three generations of Californian dentists and settled in Oceanside. He has been serving the community for over 20 years with affordable, quality dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Maddocks stays active by surfing, motor crossing, and spending time with his wife and four children.

I read the reviews, called the office and felt this could be the place where I can feel comfortable. Robyn was the best! But when I have a concern, the last thing I think a professional dentist should said is "I don't have time, I have a lot of patients waiting" Dr. Maddocks i waiting a while sometime for you, and watch you talk to staff. I think you could've spear more than the 3 mins you spend with me. And on my way out hearing "imagine working here" was the icing on the cake, and let's me know I am not the only one who thinks he's an a**

Dr. Maddocks is the best dentist I have found since relocating to Carlsbad. I have been to many local dentists and did not have much confidence until finding his practice. He is thorough and takes the time to explain everything. If you are looking for great dental care, I don't think it gets better than Dr. Maddocks and his team at Coast Dental. Even the cleaning was great - gentle and thorough. Highly recommend!!!

Good dentist but he scolds me like I'm 2. I'm older than he. Works fast which can be good or bad. My previous dentist took his time and was thorough. Hope it works out.

A dentist I actually like and don't get anxious about going to. Their goal is the patient health and comfort. They take great care of you. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Maddox and his team!

1 recently relocated from El Dorado hills, California and chose Coast DENTAL due to very good reviews. My first visit was great! Great staff and pain free cleaning. Dr Maddocks treats you like he's a personal friend. Very professional and I'm glad he's my new dentist.

I do not write reviews that often, but I feel compelled to do so after my visits at Coast Dental in Oceanside! My drive to their office is over an hour from our house, but we never hesitate to come here for dental work! I cannot stress enough how professional and friendly the staff is. Each time we leave from an appointment we feel like we just left a family member's house. The staff always treats us with a personal touch that we have never experienced at any other dentist office. We appreciate how thorough and honest they are and appreciate their follow up phone calls after our appointments checking in on us. It is refreshing to go to a dentist without them pushing additional services on you. Well done Coast Dental.

Just to remind for everyone, Coastal Dental isn't open on Fridays, but the are open every other Saturdays. Great People

I'm writing this while here in the office :). We love it here! They don't guilt you for not flossing daily, they treat you super nice and they haven't suggested unnecessary work. Thank you everyone!

Had quite a bit of dental work done here today and although a bit nervous for me the staff and I mean the entire staff is amazing. They take the time to explain everything that is getting done and it is very apparent that they all take great pride in what they do. Strongly recommend this Dentist, if you are looking for a place to go because of tooth pain, this dental office is the place. You will be glad you went here. Thanks for making my visit much easier and a good experience.

Ryan, Daniel and Dr. Maddox couldn't have been nicer or more professional . The front desk staff were extremely courteous and friendly. A wonderful experience for an emergency visit, while staying with family here in California. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
