Graduating magna cum laude from the elite Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine as a leader of his clinical class, Dr. Ahmad Ahmad is an absolute professional regarding all facets of dental care. Dr. Ahmad has performed thousands of procedures, ranging from general family dentistry to advanced cosmetic treatments for in-need patients.
During the course of his career, Dr. Ahmad has made the betterment of others a key priority for his work. Recently, he completed a volunteering expedition to Honduras, providing dental care to impoverished people, many of whom had never seen a dentist before. The need to give back to his community was a value passed onto him by his parents, who are his biggest supporters. Dr. Ahmads father passed recently from a preventable cardiac disease an event that fueled Dr. Ahmads passion for preventive, systemic forms of health care.
When Dr. Ahmad is not providing world-class dental care, you can find him on the golf course or telling jokes to his lovely wife, Suzanne who is the light of his world. Dr. Ahmad uses his considerable skill, training and sense of personal responsibility to provide patients with not only industry-leading health care but also an overall health experience that is compassionate, effective, and above all, fun.
Dr. Omar Ali is a graduate of the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was a leader among his clinical class with a special focus in implants and high-end cosmetic treatments. It was during college that he met his wife, Donna, while they both sat on the executive board of a social equity organization, promoting volunteerism, charity and outreach.
It is Dr. Alis compassionate nature that led him to Gibson City Hospital, where he still treats patients twice a week as the clinical director of the dental health clinic. There, he provides care for the low- income community with limited access to dental assistance.
Dr. Ali recently welcomed his first daughter, Nida (named after his mother), and is watching with pride as his wife, Donna, completes her dental training at Midwestern University. Dr. Ali is a fervent Chicago sports fan and loves to travel his most recent adventure took him to Venice, Italy. Dr. Omar Ali is a top-tier dental practitioner with a flair for the artistic and love for serving the community.
Tammy earned her degree for dental hygiene from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights. She has dedicated her life to improving the oral health of her patients and truly enjoys her job. Tammy loves having the opportunity to teach each individual the best way to care for their oral (and overall) health. She understands the effects dental health can have on the body and wants to make sure all of her patients have all the tools and information they need to stay healthy!
A native of Will County, Tammy may already be known by many of you! She enjoys going out on her boat with her husband, Rich, and she can be found at any local car show or even out walking her dogs. She has two Pit Bull rescues, Manny and Ari, whom she loves to pieces! When she is not out on the community, she is at home gardening, canning or just relaxing by a bonfire.
Since Esmeralda (or Esme, as she is affectionately known) has been assisting, she has become very passionate about caring for all our patients and their dental needs. Esmeralda came to us from a very busy practice where she worked with multiple doctors, refining her skills to perform any task required. She is a very quick learner, and her easy-going personality keeps our office efficient even in the busiest of times. She received her certificate in sealants and coronal polishing from the Illinois State Dental Society. She has refined her skills in our office as a specialist in the knowledge of dental insurance benefits, plan provisions, claim filing and even appeals just one way we make your dental visit with us that much easier! She is thorough and precise and is a pleasure to work with.
Natalie is a longtime resident of Braidwood. She has dedicated herself fully to making our patients feel at ease and is always calm and comforting. She LOVES animals of all kinds and has some unique and interesting pets. Natalie is a strong supporter of pet adoption.
Stephanie is a Coal City girl with hometown Iowa charm! Her many years of experience are invaluable. She is passionate, knowledgeable and always happy to help in any situation. Stephanie is also an employee of the County Health Department, which puts her ahead of the curve in knowledge and training for disease prevention, proper decontamination procedures, and an overall interest and knowledge of public health!
ChyAnne is an expanded function dental assistant. She began assisting in 2002 in Utah and has been in love with the dental world ever since! She received her dental radiology certificate at Weber State University in 2002. After returning to Illinois, she worked in oral surgery and general practice, earning a certificate in coronal polishing and sealants and OSHA Certification. She also holds a certificate in nurse assisting, trained as a practical nurse, is proficient in conscious sedation and is CPR certified. She is passionate about the dental field and continuing education. ChyAnne enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand their dental condition and the options available to them.

Excellent dental experience. Very reasonable and realistic. In my opinion that is hard to find in a dentist. I will be returning for all my dental needs. Would recommend to anyone in need of dental care.

To start I should preface that I'm 31 and haven't been to a dentist regularly in around 15 years. Things pop up in your life and sometimes dental becomes a lower priority than it should be. However when I started going to Coal City Dental the staff has always been a wonderful experience. I would like to walk you, a potentially hesitant patient through my experience with them. ChyAnne is the Office Manager and fields a lot of the phone calls and scheduling for you, if you have any issues just let her know and she will take care of you! She will work around your schedule as much as they reasonably can. ChyAnne is polite, with a smile in her voice. When you enter the waiting room she knows you by name the second time you come. Wait time is negligible, usually you are in a dentist's room straight away. Debbie is the second person I had the pleasure of meeting during these recent procedures. She is very knowledgeable and will joyfully answer any questions you may have. It had been a very long time since my last appointment so I had many. She was patient throughout my stumbling and slurred speech (Numbing shots). Debbie performed my root scaling and planning, there was no discomfort or pain whatsoever. She was very clear and concise with instructions. She also helped prep me and assisted in my temporary crown placement. She is very skilled. I would also like to thank her for the suggestion to buy a waterpik. It has helped with my periodontal disease discomfort immensely. Finally we come to Natalie and Dr. Ahmad. I have only had the pleasure of their company a couple of times now, however they are both extremely pleasant to work with. Their skill when working together is kind of amazing to watch. I would say %90+ of their communication is nonverbal and if they need to speak about the procedure it may only be a word or two, which conveys an entire sentence. That doesn't mean that they are quiet; during the procedure they engage with each other and the patient. Natalie and Dr. Ahmad are great at distracting you with small talk and it feels like the procedure just flies by. Dr. Ahmad is particularly good at numbing up your mouth and to be honest, I didn't feel even the slightest pinch while I was receiving a multitude of shots in my mouth. He paid particular attention to my crown and fillings so that I had a nice contact when biting. Natalie was very good at initiating the small talk and distracting you from the procedure while involving you in the conversation. She always had a tool or quip at the ready. Overall I would give the staff that I have had the pleasure of working with a 10/10. The quality of workmanship, the skill and knowledge of the staff, friendly atmosphere as well as their ability to accommodate your requests all come together and result in a rather enjoyable experience at the dentist. I will personally be going here until either the staff changes or I move out of state. Luckily they are a local company, but if they weren't it would be worth a two hour drive to keep coming here. I highly recommend them and hope you have even half of the positive experience I have had with them.

We have had the best experience with Dr. Trevison and her team. A few of us in our family are fearful of dental work, and we have always received top care! I have never felt pain in her office and they will work with you on payments.

When I came in for scheduled maintenance with the hygienist it was apparent that there were additional safeguards in place to protect me from any chance of getting The COVID virus. These practices obviously meant more work and more expense for this dedicated staff. I appreciate their effort to keep me safe

If you have a fear of dentist from bad childhood experiences, go to Coal City Dental. The entire staff is wonderful. They understand your fears. They have the most modern equipment. I hated to go to the dentist until I went here. Give them a try.

Everyone at the office is always pleasant and helpful. My hygienist Debbie is not only great at what she does but she makes sure she educates you. Dr. Trevison is very personable and compassionate. It's a dentist but I can honestly say I look forward to going to my appointments.

My husband and I moved to this area 23 years ago. At the time Minooka had its own newspaper where COAL CITY regularly ran an ad. Dr Robyn included in her advertisement a great picture of all those who worked there. AT THE MOST VISIBLE POINT ON THE PHOTO, someone had placed an ad that said: "WE CATER TO COWARDS!!!" Needless to say, Dr. Robyn has been taking care of us since. She always gives us options for how to address our particular issues, along with the possible consequences down the road that may develop. They also look in a realistic way about the finances in making choices. Down to the last, their staff is friendly, knows your name even if you don't have a drink with us!!
