Since 1975, Coakley Family Dental has been providing patient-centered dental care to residents in and around the Fitchburg, Massachusetts area. Our most important job is to make sure that our patients understand their dental care options and are empowered to make educated decisions about their dental health. Providing honest and thorough diagnoses and treatment plans is how Coakley Family Dental has set the standard, and established ourselves among the best and most reliable dental offices in Central Massachusetts.
Our doctors and staff are highly trained and experienced in the latest technology and techniques in preventative, restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. Our goal is to take the mystery and anxiety out of dental care.
When I first decided to become a dentist, it was because I wanted to help people: help them to be healthy, help them out of pain, help them smile. Now I realize that while dentistry is all of those things, it is so much more. Overcoming disease and discomfort, building confidence by restoring a healthy smile it is not only an occupation. It is a privilege. I am so fortunate and grateful to be surrounded by a team that believes this as fundamentally as I do. Dr. Christen MacIntyre grew up in the coastal town of Scituate, MA. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2009, earning Bachelors Degrees in both History and Classics. In 2016 she graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and soon after began her dental career with a group practice in the Springfield area.
Dr. Christen believes that every patient ought to be treated like family. Whether youre anxious about seeing the dentist or just want to understand more about your treatment, Dr. Christen is glad to walk you through every step of the way. Her goal, every day, is to help her patients feel educated, comfortable, and happy with their dental care and to have them leave with a smile!
Dr. Christen enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, her son Liam, family and friends. She also enjoys travel, especially to the beach, music, and cooking she is always happy to see a new place or try a new recipe!
I am so excited to join the Coakley Family Dental team. The entire office has been very welcoming and genuinely enjoys working together to create a positive experience for each patient that comes through the door. I love that dentistry allows me to help people improve their health, smiles, and quality of life. I enjoy connecting with my patients as we partner to meet their needs.
Dr. Danielle Calagione grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University, with a major in Health and Exercise Science and minors in Biology and Chemistry. Following her graduation in 2009, she returned to Kentucky to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, graduating with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2013. Since then, Dr. Calagione has practiced in a multi-specialty dental office in the Boston area.
Dr. Calagione enjoys treating patients of all ages and strives to make them comfortable and relaxed in her care. She educates her patients on their individualized treatment options and works with patients to achieve their specific goals.

The entire team creates a wonderful environment that provides high quality, comfortable dental care to all patients and I am delighted to be a part of it. Dr. Tom grew up in Belmont, MA. He attended UMass Amherst and earned a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Tom then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Tom takes pride in delivering exceptional and compassionate care to all his patients. He continues to embrace learning and technology in dentistry by engaging in continuing education as well as local and national dental societies.

Dr. MacIntyre is nothing short of impeccable. Excellent bedside manner--wonderful at explaining what she's doing and why. She's efficient. She did double the amount of normal work in half the time, out of consideration for my work schedule. She's a joy to have as my dentist.

I was not a patient but had a dental emergency with a broken tooth. My dentist had retired and I called Coakley Family Dental. Spoke with Lori and the response was quick and their service professional . As stated I am new to the practice but so far they're top notch.
