CMP Dental Arts is a full service family dental practice serving Syracuse, Fayetteville, Manlius, DeWitt, Cazenovia, Skaneateles, Jamesville, East Syracuse, Eastwood, Cicero, Canastota, Camillus, Liverpool, Mattydale, Chittenango, Minoa, and Solvay.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our capacity to see patients will be decreased. For your safety, we must allocate additional time to meet the requirements for patient prescreening, social distancing, monitoring of office environment, safety controls, general precautions, and much enhanced deep cleaning and disinfection.
Each year we are provided a nationwide dental survey of fees broken down by zip code. Our zip code is 13066 (Sourced from NDAS-National Dental Advisory Services). We use this survey to create fees that are in the 50th percentile, representing a true average in our area.
Dental insurance companies dedicate about 55% of every benefit dollar to patient care. In response to Covid-19, most insurance companies are offering zero reimbursement for the considerable additional cost and time invested in patient screening and PPE, which is the first and most necessary step in maintaining patient safety. It is simply not affordable to participate with every insurance company while still providing excellent dental care. However, we are happy to file your claims electronically, even if you are covered by an out-of-network provider.
Our staff is the heart of this practice. Each staff member expresses our commitment to gentle care and our resolve to provide great dental health and smiles to our patients. And each staff member brings a personal touch in fulfilling our mission and core values as a dental practice.
In the field of dentistry, Dr. P. has years of experience in comprehensive periodontal evaluation (gums and bones), and restorative dentistry using the latest technology including tooth-colored restorations. He looks forward to catering to more young families as well. We will further emphasize these areas among other advancements at our office. Dr. P. will continue to add a comprehensive understanding of your oral conditions and develop maintenance and treatment plans to fit your individual needs and maximize your oral health.
When Dr. P. is not with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. His wife Dr. Ranjna Sharma is head of the Breast Surgery Department at Upstate Medical. Together they have three wonderful young children, Alexandra, Andrew, and Nicolas. His other interests include running, cycling, swimming, skiing, and travel.
Jill has been at the hands of a dentist for 30 years. Originally earning her Dental Assistant certificate from OCM BOCES, Jill is continually updating her professional skills and applies this with a great chair-side manner during every visit. With two daughters of her own, Jill has developed a love for growing with her patients and being able to watch as the practices children blossom into great young adults. When not assisting Dr Poulos, Jill likes spending time with her husband Patrick, grandsons Dustin and Peyton, and especially her cat Hankyl.
Louise, one of our regularly praised Dental Hygienists, is able to bring experience and dedication to the CMP Dental Arts team due to her years of working with patients. She received A.A.S.degrees in both Computer Science and Dental Hygiene with high honors. Louise is proud to bring her work ethic and drive with her every day. Louises outstanding quality is her compassion and commitment to her patients well being. Outside of work, Louise enjoys spending time with her nine grandchildren and traveling.
Nathan is our youngest staff member here at CMP Dental Arts. Nathan is a pre-dental student from Baldwinsville and has recently completed his B.A. in Integrative Neuroscience at Binghamton University. Nathan had developed a passion for the CMP Dental Family and will be attending dental school in 2020. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and playing golf. At the front desk, Nathan works hard alongside Dr Poulos and is happy to complement your visit with an inviting manner.
Kay is from Staten Island. She has been with our practice for over 16 years. Kay holds a B.S.E., M.S.E., and an A.A.S. Before practicing dental hygiene, Kay worked with persons with disabilities in a variety of capacities. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is helping to empower others to get through their fears within the realm of dentistry. As a professional clown, her balloon animal skills still come in handy. When she is not working, Kay is often seen unicycling in her neighborhood and competes in long distance open water swimming races.

we were looking for a new dentist, I saw how good the reviews were for them and they were on my list of participants so I called talked to the receptionist told her my situation and she said she would talk to the dentist and get back to me. A week later I called again because I had not heard back from them, again I told this other person my situation and she said she would talk to the dentist and get back to me it is now week 4 of my first phone call I do not expect to hear back from them at this point

I was a little anxious to go to a new dental practice but immediately the staff made me feel so comfortable! The office staff was friendly and personable. The hygienist who was with me the whole time was gentle, caring, knowledgeable and diligent. My teeth feel great! Dr. Poulos listened to my concerns and explained in detail what needed to be done going forward with my oral health. I have made my follow up appointment with confidence that I have found my new dentist.

I truly enjoy going to CMP Dental Arts. I left my previous provider's office to follow my hygienist Summer who I have seen for years. Summer knows I suffer from dental anxiety and she always takes her time and creates a calm relaxing environment. Dr. Poulos always clearly discusses any required treatment I may need. As a healthcare professional it speaks volumes to me that this practice has many long-term employees that enjoy working there! If you looking for a new provider, your search is over. Once again CMP Dental Arts providing outstanding patient service. I had an issue that required immediate attention and they went above and beyond to see me and resolve my issue within 24 hours. Keep in mind that this is a very busy Dental Practice and for them to make the time to ensure that I be seen asap is unbelievable! I am very grateful and will always be appreciative. CMP Dental Arts is by far the leader in Dentistry. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and that your dental needs are met. Most people have the dental fear factor, no need to worry about it here. This is the only dental practice that I am aware of that when you visit for what ever reason your are always seen by the dentist before you depart from the facility. I never imagined in my lifetime that I would look forward going to the dentist. CMP Dental Arts goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and that your dental needs are satisfied. I had my teeth cleaned by Summer and she was amazing! She was very gentle and explained everything she was doing. She also continuously checked in to make sure I was ok throughout the cleaning.

This was my first time going to CMP and it was a great experience! I hadn't been to the dentist in a while but they were really nice about it and didn't make me feel guilty. Very thorough but kept things moving right along. Summer was my dental hygienist and you could tell she was very experienced and very passionate about her work. The dentist took her time to talk with me to make sure I understood everything, which I appreciate. Even the front desk people were super nice and took the time to look at pictures of the baby. My wife is going there soon and I know she will have a great experience as well.

So Im a very upfront person ...no BS So here is my opinion...based on my experiences...visits... 1st Dr. Poulos...he greets you as if you are Like family he hasn't seen for a bit.. & Gets right down to the reason you're There...& Makes you feel comfortable With what needs to be done that day.. & Any other options you may need to know about & answers all your questions...2nd.... I like that I can choose who I would like to clean my teeth... Louise is my favorite because she gets that I'm your typical Italian who just wants to get it done & get going....she talks to me the whole time so I'm comfortable & not anxious feeling & she realizes what I'm saying even while she's cleaning...lol... But I wouldn't mind any of them for a cleaning... very kind....3rd ..they are like this little family with #familylike communication....& Work as a team Which is an important aspect for me anyways.... because I'm a hyper coward they cater to....so thumbs up to you all Thanks for putting up with my crazy busy self.... Dr Poulos and Jill could not have any more helpful in my dire situation! I am a teacher and lost a front tooth! They saw me right away and I am now on the road to getting it taken care of. Many thanks to a GREAT team!
