American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Certified, Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Renee Uchida-Hashizume has the training and education necessary to provide patients with the dental care that every parents expects for their child.
Dr. Uchida works alongside her father, Dr. Clyde Uchida, and her twin sister, Dr. Cherie Uchida. The doctors maintain two inviting offices that are equipped with the latest dental equipment and designed for young patients. Dr. Uchida-Hashizume provides a fun and gentle environment so each patient has a pleasant and rewarding dental experience. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Our pediatrician on schofield recommended this dentist for our toddlers first dentist and being a new mom I took her word for it and brought them in for check ups every 6 months for 2 years. Dr Uchida is a nice personable guy and I liked him so I went back and took him at his word. He would just look in their mouths say they were good and send us on our way. No cleanings or X-rays and not knowing any better I thought that was what happened. About a year ago I brought my son in with some build up on his teeth that I was concerned about and dr Uchida reassured us it was "healthy buildup because of alkaline in his spit" and again I don't know dentistry and it was my first kid. 6 months later the buildup had gotten much worse and my 3.5 yr old son was saying "mama mouth hurt" pretty often dr Uchida again brushed it off as healthy buildup fed me that same bs again and sent us on our way, no X-ray no cleaning. Finally after my mom gut had been SCREAMING at me this was wrong I went to another pediatric dentist to find out after a thorough exam and xrays that my son infact had SEVERE GINGIVITIS and he was shocked we had ever taken him to a dentist before in his life , he said it was negligent that anyone had let us leave with what was so obviously a very severe problem. They cleaned his teeth for 2 hours and still only got about half of it off. So my almost nonverbal child went what is likely roughly a YEAR with mouth pain and OBVIOUS gingivitis thanks to dr Uchida! I whole heartedly recommend you stay as far away from this fn place as possible as I suspect behind that friendly demeanor is a practice of pocketing the insurance money to do NOTHING!

Love this place!!! Everyone is nice friendly and knows what there doing and makes sure you have enough information for your appt.

I tried calling multiple times over the course of a week to set up an appointment. When I finally got through to someone, they said they were busy and that they would call back. Of course that call back never happened.
