Dr. Tischler graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 1981. He continued with his education at SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where Dr. Tischler was selected for the American Cancer Society Fellowship in Oral Pathology and Oncology at the Roswell Memorial Hospital. In 1985 he graduated with a D.D.S. degree and a minor in Periodontology. After graduating dental school, Dr. Tischler completed a General Practice Dental Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then served as an attending dentist at both Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and at Flushing Hospital Medical Center where he currently holds an attending position. Dr. Tischler is a Board of Trustees member of the Queens County Dental Society and to date Dr. Tischler has held many prestigious positions with in the Queens County Dental Society ,most notable, Dr. Craig Tischler is the 2019 President of the Queens Country Dental Society . Dr. Tischler is an active member of the New York State Dental Association, member of the American Dental Association, and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2015 Dr Tischler became a fellow of the international college of Dentists. Dr. Tischler was inducted in 2014 into the Pierre Fauchard Academy which is an international honor.
Dr. Tischler provides all phases of dentistry using the safest and most modern techniques at affordable fees. He has been practicing in the Rego Park / Forest Hills, Queens area for over 30 years and is an active Board of Trustee member of the Queens County Dental Society. Dr. Tischler is an Attending Dentist at Flushing Hospital Medical Center where he mentors young dentists from all over the country. Dr. Tischler's office is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday.

I recommend Dr. Tischler without hesitation. I have been his patient for 20 years! He is extremely knowledgeable and keeps up to date with the latest research and treatment. He is undoubtedly honest and loves his profession. This office is managed extremely well. I'm usually seen at the time of my appointment and have only had a short wait a couple of times. That's a pretty good track record after 20 years! For those employed with the DOE, he accepts UFT insurance. For those without a car, he is located near an R/M subway stop.

I have been going to Dr. Tischler for 18 years now. Everyone in the office is always very friendly and professional. The office is always on time for appointments. Dr. Tischler is very thorough and I really trust him with my teeth matters. Would highly recommend him as a dentist.

My first visit to Dr. Tischler was a great experience. He immediately puts you at ease with his calm and professional demeanor. The most impressive part of my visit was that Dr.Tischler took the time to show me the areas where I had problems on my x-rays, which I have never had a dentist do before. This helped me to know why and how to care for my teeth better, thus motivating me to do so. I never felt rushed. Him and his awesome staff have a special way of making your visit personalized, comfortable and stress-free. This place is worth every penny. I would definitely suggest anyone to come here. Those stars are not an exaggeration! I would give 10 stars if it would let me!

Wonderful dentist. Dr. Tischler has been taking care of my teeth for 16 years. If I weren't retiring and moving out of the area I would continue seeing him. He cares about your teeth and tells you what you need to know and how to care for your gums and teeth. If you are a teacher he will even come to your school and talk about teeth heath care to your students.

Dr. Tischler and staff are so professional and accommodating! I've been going to him for regular dental cleaning for years (over 15 years since my parents brought me to him as our family dentist). I have grown to trust him so well that I had him do my veneers too! He's very professional, prides himself in his good quality work, and is very personable. He was even so kind to give me some advice when I set off for college and connect me to his family members who were attending the same college as me. The dental assistants tend to rotate, but they are always really helpful! Also, Debbie, the main admin, has always taken care of me and clearly helped me understand billing and booking. Occasionally, I've waited up to 15 minutes to be seen by Dr. Tischler, but only because he offers really good attention and service to his clients and tries to service his prior appointments fully (i.e. perform a filling during the same appointment as a routine cleaning) so that clients don't have to schedule a second follow up appointment. This practice is very respectful of the clients' time and works efficiently to satisfy all clients for the day. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Tischler.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Tischler for over 16 years. He has performed a variety of work for us ranging from routine cleaning to root canal and posts without any issues or complications. Dr. Tischler is a patient professional who is fabulous with children and entertains with his great sense of humor. Scheduling is very flexible and accommodating. He does not overbook so you are seen on time. The facility is extremely clean and his staff is knowledgeable, courteous and engaging. Although we've moved further away, the great experience every time keeps us coming back. He is simply the best in the business.

I have been going to Dr. Tischler for over 5 years now and every visit has been a positive experience. He takes the time to answer any questions no matter how big or small. I haven't had to visit for any other reason besides a cavity filling and routine cleanings. Every cleaning is performed thoroughly as all visible stains I had coming into my visit are gone by the time I am out (this was not the case with the other dental professionals I have been to). My wife and son are now seeing Dr. Tischler as well and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.
