Working as an orthodontist is very rewarding and exciting. I feel fortunate and grateful for the opportunity to associate with such great patients and a wonderful staff. The best part of my job is seeing the transformation of each patients smile and, with that, seeing how the change improves the persons self-esteem and confidence!
I was drawn to orthodontics as a way to help others. Our smiles, and how we feel about them, can affect our self-worth and how we interact with others, personally and professionally. I design each patients treatment plan to give them a smile they love: a smile thats beautifully confident, healthy, and will last a lifetime.
One of the most exciting aspects of orthodontics is the constant advancements in techniques and technology. Ongoing research leads to new diagnostic options, approaches to treatment planning, and methodologies. All of these can change how I practice and what patients experience.
Through continuing education attending meetings and conferences, participating in study clubs, and reading the latest journals I stay current on the newest information. This ensures I am utilizing the best tools and techniques that lead to the best patient experiences and finished smiles.
Heather, my wife, and I live near Phoenix with our five amazing (and active) children: Tyler, Tessa, Olivia, Jayden, and Carter. If Im not in the office, Im usually found with my family, supporting the kids many school and extracurricular interests, along with church and community activities. I also enjoy following sports and love hiking, especially in the Grand Canyon.

I have worked in orthodontics for over 30 years, both in the clinic and the front office. It is amazing to see how changing a persons smile can change their life: I get to see our patients gain confidence at every visit!
As the Cloward Orthodontics Office Manager, I oversee all aspects of the front office. My focus is always on ensuring our patients and families feel welcome and informed throughout treatment, and keeping us organized so we provide the best experience.
I have worked in the dental field since 1997 and joined Cloward Orthodontics in 2005. I love working with people and like helping our patients transform their smiles. Seeing our patients go from feeling self-conscious about their teeth to happily smiling and laughing keeps me smiling!
As the Back Office Supervisor, I handle everything from chairside assisting to patient care to managing patient flow. Its important were ready to exceed our patients expectations at every visit and I strive to make that happen.
My husband Tom and I love to spend our free time hiking, biking, and golfing. We have two wonderful kids, Nicole and Matthew, who are taking college courses and holding down full time jobs. They make us very proud; we are truly blessed!
Outside of the office, I enjoy time with my husband of more than 30 years. I am a mom of five and a grandma of three. I also have three fur babies: two dogs and a cat who run the house! I love to eat healthy and hike in the desert behind my house. Currently, I am in the presidency of a womens group that helps with the welfare and care of the women and their families in my church.
I went to dental assisting school in 2012 and have worked in Kansas, Ohio, and now Arizona! Joining the team in 2019, I assist Dr. Cloward with patient care. Seeing the kids and adults from start to finish is simply the best! Its amazing how fast we can change someones smile and their entire outlook on life!
My family and I moved to Arizona three years ago after my husband got out of the military. He is now in school at ASU finishing his degree in business management. We have a two-year-old named Emma who is so sweet and loving. I love spending time with my family!

What a fantastic experience we had at Cloward Orthodontist! My daughter has a fabulous smile, she was given top notch treatment and attention. She was followed for about a year prior to having braces, for the ultimate time for her growth. The entire staff were kind and professional. The practice is exceptionally clean. We were communicated with updates and changes. There was no pressure or upselling. Highly recommend!

If you are in need of orthodontic work and looking for friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff, this is the place. Orthodontic prices are reasonable and there is no pressure given to make you feel you have commit to anything at consultation. My daughter's braces came off today. We are extremely satisfied with the results. Kid #2 will most likely need braces as well. We look forward to returning when it is his time for orthodontic work.

Recently my permanent retainer bracket broke, and I needed it reglued. I called Cloward Orthdontocs and made an appointment on one of their early days before work. I needed a new bracket since I lost the old one within a week of it being out. I spoke with the receptionist and went over the plan. Then meet with the orthodontist. Everyone was very friendly. We scheduled my next appointment and realized that I wouldn't be able to come the next week because I'd be on vacation the next week, and the following week, they would be closed. We were all worried about my teeth moving without the retainer for two weeks. They moved things around and made me another appointment the same day at 4 pm! I was amazed at how fast they worked! I had to be at work at 8 am, and they did wax modes, and then I was on my way! I returned at four, and they put the bracket back on in record time. I appreciate them fitting me into the schedule. I had a fantastic experience!

We have had such great experiences here! They have now taken care of myself and 2 of my kids. My third child is about to start and he's so excited. They've never pushed for unnecessary treatments and have kept a close eye on my 3rd kid and his needs for 3 years until he's finally ready to get started. Everyone here is amazing, friendly, and efficient from the front desk, to the care coordinator, the assistants and the doctor himself. I've never been to an office with such a warm, welcome and friendly atmosphere. They never mind my copious amounts of curious questions or my silly kids. It's perfect for patients of all ages!
