Michael R. Ward was born in Moline Illinois. He was an only child and lived in Las Vegas before his family settled in San Bernardino California. In Michaels early years he worked in his familys coffee shop helping out where needed. He loved talking with the customers as well as playing guitar on his time off.
He graduated from Loma Linda Academy in 1970. While there he met his wife Renie, andhas been happily married for 40 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1975 from La Sierra University in Riverside California.
In 1979 he graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S.. Upon graduating, Dr. Ward and his family moved to Fresno, where he worked for a time as an associatewith two local dentists.
Dr. Ward was creative and came up with a great idea that was outside of the box, in 1987 he started his own business, Mobile Dental Care. He purchased a Greyhound bus and converted it to a mobile dental office that came to his customers. It was fully equipped with two dental chairs, x-ray machine, and even had a wheel chair lift. Yes thats right he brought the dentist to you! He made house calls and rest home calls as well. It was an adventure for sure! In 1990 he opened his practice at the present location.
Dr. Ward is a dentist who truly believes in DENTAL care for a life time from people who care. He truly cares about his patients and believes in providing quality dental care. Dr. Ward is a very active manwho is very involved in the community as well as his church and family. He has two children Mark and Michelle, who are both married. He is a proud grandfather of Jacob who is the light of his life. Dr. Ward is very active in his church and serves as a deacon. He also plays guitar and performs in the bandSunnyside Grace (a church gospel band) as well.

Fantastic doctor and staff! Dr. Ward provides quality care. I was impressed that i didnt have to wait to be seen, and that Dr. Ward personally greated me and brought me back. He was very kind! I definitely recommend Dr. Ward!

Friendly, competetent, professional, always on time.First off, let me begin by saying I NEVER write reviews -- but after my experience with Dr. Ward I felt it was the only right thing to do seeing as he has changed my outlook on dentists all together. Dr. Ward is the BEST dentist in Clovis -- not just for people who are very fearful of getting dental work done, but because he is a grade A professional at his craft. I went into his office and was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. He knew I had a bad fear so he talked me through the whole thing and made me laugh quite a bit to lighten the mood. From that appointment made over 15 years ago, I decided that Dr. Ward was and is the only dentist for me. I have recommended Dr. Ward to my friends and family. At the end of the day you want a dentist who not only cares about his patient's but also exudes quality, and professionalism and that is what Dr. Ward exudes. Thank you Dr. Ward! I always look forward to my appointments !

If you are a working professional, with an extremely busy schedule, and a lot of responsibilities this is not the dentist for you! Last week I had a 9:30 dentist appointment, as I was heading to my appointment I had a call that I had six units at a senior community flood, due to the interior water sprinklers going off, from a small fire. I walked in seven minutes late, apologized to the dentist and his wife, explained I had a flood, there was nobody else in the office. I said I need two minutes to finish my call to give direction to the staff. Mike the dentist started grumbling underneath his breath that he does not like to wait for his patients, he said I was ruining his day and kept mumbling under his breath. (I was shocked with the way he reacted) It was recommended unprofessionally that I reschedule my appointment. Basically they refused to see me, I'm a good paying patient and would have much rather have them kindly explain that they are going to need to reschedule my appointment. I had never been treated so rudely by a medical professional ever in my 52 years of life. I cannot promise that I will not have another emergency or with traffic be a few minutes late, so I will not be returning. I explain to them I need somebody to be flexible with my demanding schedule. Personally, I think it's time for him to retire, if he is going to get so upset with a patients emergency, And show bad customer service to a patient, than he shouldn't come in.
