As a native of Rock Hill, SC and a board-certified orthodontist who practiced there for over 35 years as a dual-trained orthodontist & pediatric dentist, I am committed to partnering with you to provide exceptional, individualized orthodontic treatment to the patients you serve.
I am passionate about community involvement, and I have served on local boards such as the American Red Cross, Piedmont Speech and Hearing Association, and York Technical College Advisory Committee. I am the past president of the South Carolina Association of Orthodontists and have served on the South Carolina State Board of Dentistry. I am a member of Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, SC and have served as both a Deacon and Elder. I look forward to seeking out new opportunities to get involved in the Clover community, as well!
I attended Clemson University, where I received my Bachelors degree, Masters degree, and served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force (USAF). Following my active duty tour, I remained in the USAF Reserves and was stationed at Charleston Air Force Base (AFB) as a pilot. It was at this time that I entered The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, followed by The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where I attained Pediatric and Orthodontic Specialty Certificates.
During my 35-year private practice career in Rock Hill, I also served as a part time associate clinical professor at both The Medical College of Georgia and The Medical University of South Carolinas Schools of Dentistry Departments of Orthodontics, where I was responsible for both orthodontic clinical patient care and classroom lecture.
At Clover Orthodontics, we are proud to serve the community as the areas first and only orthodontic specialty practice through providing beautiful, confident smiles at an affordable price point. We saw that the people of Clover had to travel some distance in order to get the specialized orthodontic treatment they deserve, and we wanted to offer a solution that would make the gift of a great smile more convenient and attainable thus, Clover Orthodontics was born!
Lauren is our Orthodontic Assistant with over two years of experience in orthodontics after previously working in general dentistry. She is a Clover native and proud supporter of Clover HS football and baseball. Lauren lives in Clover with her fianc and four-year-old daughter. She is excited and committed to bringing the best possible treatment experiences to our patients at Clover Orthodontics!
Trinity was born and raised in Gaston County, and now resides in Dallas, NC. She began her career in the Dental field in 2018. Trinity attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC, where she received her certification for Dental Assisting. Trinity is married to her high school sweetheart, Travis. They have two dogs named Bonnie and Ava, as well as two goats named Ramsey and Josie! When shes not helping to perfect smiles at Clover Orthodontics, Trinity most enjoys being with her animals, spending time with family and going on vacation!

We love clover orthodontics! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our youngest daughter is currently in her braces journey. Dr Thomas is always so good to get and helps her understand the process. I've referred a few friends and families!

Just got bottom braces on & the staff was very pleasant. Dr.Thomas listened to what I wanted done and the reason I only wanted bottom. His plan made much sense and made me feel confident in the new look. Dr.Thomas & the staff told me everything they were doing before doing it. Very clean and neat environment.

Extremely friendly staff. Dr went above and beyond with details for my son. Even checked out my younger son who didn't even have an appointment that day!! Will be returning for service for all 4 of our kids when it's needed!!

Went in for a consult and enjoyed every bit of my time in this office. The whole staff and Dr. Thomas are friendly, welcoming... the whole team has something that lights up the room. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I made the right choice for my orthodontics. Trinity greeted me on first name basis which made my experience that more enjoyable! Dr. Thomas is phenomenal and very personable with each patient. He breaks down each step to the most minor detail. I went in for a consulation and got my braces installed the same day! Dr. Thomas, Trinity and staff, you guys are amazing and I HIGHLY recommend this orthodontist to anyone seeking first class customer service and a family environment!

This is the best group of people!! They are very knowledgeable and take their time to show you and guide you through every treatment plan! Both of my girls are now going through them!
