Dr. Don Flanagan recognized a need for compassionate, caring dental providers long ago and after opening his very first orthodontic practice in the 1970's has continued to build the Cloudland Dental Family around these principles. Dr. Flanagan's first general dental practice opened in Hixson in 2001 and was quickly followed by other locations. The Cleveland practice was soon to follow the next year and quickly grew out of its office to the current location on Stuart Road. In 2005, the Crossville practice was established. This office has expanded to triple its original size and is still growing. As the Dental Centers continued to grow, an office was added in Chattanooga on Hwy 58 in 2007 & then Sweetwater in 2008.
In 2008, Dr. Flanagan retired from Orthodontics and has focused his attention to the Dental Centers. The Dental Centers, now known as Cloudland Dental is continuing to impact its communities as they practice dentistry and treat your family, like they are our family!
When Dr. Flanagan fully retired in 2019, Cloudland Dental partnered with North American Dental Group. With this partnership, the Cloudland offices continue bringing you the same services and amazing experiences that were cultivated under Dr. Flanagan's ownership. Plus, all of our friendly team members that you know and love are still here to serve you!

Paid $5000.00 for a set of dentures last December. A front tooth fell out on Friday. Had to wait until Monday. Said they will have to be sent back to lab. Could set up appointment to get them back next Monday. Quality of dentures are cheap. So disappointed.

I always have a wonderful experience when go there, never have I experienced any discomfort or pain of any kind, they are always fun and upbeat. Very clean, organized, the staff relates well with patients and each other, so, yes would definitely recommend going to Cloudland dental . Lori P.

Staff is always nice. Services are prompt and waiting time is low. We have 4 children who go here and they work with us on scheduling them together as much as possible. Love this place!!!

All of the staff are very nice and polite and make you feel comfortable and not nervous. They also caught my terribly high blood pressure and told me to see my doctor. It was just in time to prevent a stroke or heart attack. I saw my health official and got back on meds and doing fine. I am grateful for this place. Karlea Thomas is a sweetie and so are all of you. Everyone was friendly, helpful and kind. It was my first visit and I only saw the dentist for a very few minutes, but the girls in the office were extremely nice. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a dentist visit that much! All they did was X-ray and look at my teeth lol! I'm going back to have new dentures done and I'm actually looking forward to that process.
