For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Dr. Michael Clopp received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1996. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Clopp worked as an associate in the Pittsburgh area until 2002. At that time, he opened a private practice in Cranberry Township, focusing on family and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Clopp strives to stay up-to-date on the latest principles of dentistry with many hours of continuing education. Our office includes state-of-the-art technology including: Trimira cancer screening, digital radiography, and Diagnodent caries detection. Dr. Clopp has been a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Western PA Dental Association. His office has also been awarded with the 'Honors Program' from Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
On Fridays Dr. Clopp works at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry as a Clinical Instructor in the Restorative Department. This past spring of 2019 Dr. Clopp, another instructor and a group of dental students went to Jamaica where they spent a week in the mountains providing free dental services to the community. They all found the trip to be very rewarding and plan on going back for a second trip spring of 2020.
Dr. Clopp resides in Canonsburg with his wife, Amy, and three children. He is active in his church and community including coaching youth football and baseball. He also served on his homeowners association for three years, two of which he was president.
Dr. Michelle Baird is a California native. Dr. Baird graduated from Claremont McKenna College where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then attended UCLA School of Dentistry where she received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following UCLA, Dr. Baird attained extensive training in periodontal (gum) surgery and dental implants from the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration. She went on to practice dentistry in California for four years before moving to Pennsylvania.
Dr. Baird has experience in treating patient of all ages and encourages children by three years of age. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental surgery. Dr. Baird loves being a dentist because it allows her to combine her passions for science and art while helping others. In her practice, she emphasizes patient education and preventive care. She sees her job as giving patients information and guidance in making their own decisions about their oral health.
Angela has been with our practice for over 25 years and has over 30 years of dental hygiene experience. She attended the University of Pittsburgh Dental School where she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She loves seeing the familiar facies of her patients and educating them on their oral hygiene.Outside of work she likes to spend time with her husband and two sons, practicing yoga and getting outdoors.
Breanna is one of the newer members of our team, joining our office in 2017. She is originally from California where she earned an Associates Degree in math and science, and also an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene at Taft College. Breanna also has her license in local anesthesia so she can get her patients comfortable for treatment. She moved to Pennsylvania in 2015 and likes to explore the area by getting outdoors, trying new restaurants, and enjoying all four seasons. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is meeting new people and sharing her education with her patients to improve their oral health and overall quality of life.
Laura started at our office 29 years ago, where she received on the job training and gained experience working in Endodontics, Periodontics, Prostodontics, and general dentistry. She enjoys talking to her patients and ensure they have a comfortable dental experience, and likes the chemistry she has with our doctors and staff. When she's not at work she likes to spend time with her husband and two sons, reading, kayaking, and visiting Hidden Treasures.
Amy is originally from Fombell, PA and has been with our practice for over 21 years. She has received on the job train ing in insurance coordinating and dental assisting skills. If you don't see Amy in the office you can catch her at the drive through of our local Chick-fil-A! She also enjoys horseback riding, volunteering in the community and schools in the New Sewickley and Freedom area, and spending time with her husband and two sons. Her favorite part of her job is providing excellent care for her patients, establishing relationships and watching their families grow.
