Ramin Rayhan was born to a Jewish family in Tehran, Iran. Because of religious intolerance in Iran, he emigrated to the United States in 1985. He earned his B.S. degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1989 and his D.D.S. Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Stony Brook Dental School in 1993. He received his advanced residency training in General Practice from the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in 1994.
Dr. Rayhans hobbies include sports, music, dancing and movies. He tries to stay fit and constantly better himself. He is devoted to his family, especially since they have all moved to the United States from foreign countries. Dr. Rayhan believes he is extremely fortunate that his family is back together and settled in the United States.
Dr. Nejat received his dental degree from New York University, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Nejat completed a three-year specialty training program in Periodontics and Dental Implants at Stony Brook University. He received his undergraduate degree from Drew University.

Dr. Nejat has also published several articles on new developments within the field of periodontal disease, includingPeriodontal Inflammation: The Oral Body Connection,published through an educational grant from Colgate. He is also currently involved with clinical research projects regarding flapless dental implant surgery, minimally invasive periodontal plastic surgery and computer guided dental implant surgery with immediate function.
