As a member of Phi Kappa Phi, she was also featured in Whos Who in Americas colleges and universities. She continued her education at The Ohio State University, where she graduated from the College of Dentistry in 1993. She has been in private practice since 1993.
As a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Association, Dr. Shirin Amini attends many seminars and courses to stay knowledgeable about the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Amini enjoys playing piano, tennis, and baking in her spare time. She has been married for 25 years and has one son. Her husband, an architect, helped design the office.Dr. Amini has been named one of Columbus' top Dentists by Columbus Monthlysince 2011.

Dr Amini is thorough and extremely proficient. She is an amazing person who has gone above and beyond for me time and time again. I have recommended her to all my friends and family in Columbus.

I've been a patient of Dr.Shirin for many years and she is one of the most hospitable and professional doctors around central Ohio! 5/5 stars would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a smooth and awesome experience!

My husband and I have been a patient of Dr. Shirin Amini for approximately 30 years. She is very caring and the best dentist that we've ever had. The staff at Clinonville Family Dentistry is warm, friendly and very pleasant. We have had a couple of emergencies that have come up and Dr. Amini has always taken care of us in a very timely manner. The office is very clean and inviting and we would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a good, reliable and caring team to take care of their dental needs. Absolutely the best!

They are so very helpful, caring,concerned they are so very prompt staying on schedule!!! very good listen care how you look and feel.!!They are very gentle and professional with you.!!They have very nice friendly staff interact with you very good and profession.!!!They are very good about giving you a call if they have a cancelation seeing if you want to come in that day are another day if they have a open. So keep up the great job you are being notice!!! I really appreciate you all very much also very pleased satisfied what you all do.l have been coming to Clintonville Family Dentisty for a long time!!!

Dr.Amini is the best dentist in Columbus! The staff is so kind and genuine! They have the best customer service and all my concerns we're addressed!!! Highly recommend Dr.Amini and staff :)

Dr. Amini is a good dentist. I have had bad experiences at other dental practices and I have not had a bad one here. The dental assistants and her staff have all been kind and assertive with making sure I am aware of my next appointment.

I never leave 1 star reviews, but I left in tears.I should've expected this when I came for my appointment because it took about 30 minutes my first call to schedule a new patient. She constantly was talking to colleagues while ignoring me and not putting me on hold. I called back the next week hoping for someone different to answer and to confirm that they did take my insurance and that my appointment was even made. She answered again and confirmed yes they did take my insurance. I get there and she looks me up and down and meanly says she told me they didn't accept my insurance. Ma'am? I would not have scheduled an appointment here had you not told me you accept my insurance. I get home to triple check that I have dental on my insurance and what do you know, I do! I have extreme anxiety already with the dentist and was in disbelief. I had called multiple times to ensure that my insurance was taken, got a babysitter, and she just was snarky. I am sure the dentists are great, if you can get past the untrained receptionist. Edit 5/24/22 if you need further proof look at their response. Nobody even checked my provider. I called to check multiple times because your employee seemed extremely incompetent and it shows. Upon entering the weird door that has bars on it & a doorbell for entry, you see some weird decor and typical grouchy receptionist with long gross nails. Maybe just admit you made a mistake and treated potential patients rudely and move on. The business owner made this reply at 11 pm Saturday night. Such a weird way to run a practice.

I had such a pleats experience at Clintonville Family Dentistry! I am very nervous when going to the dentist but the assistants Astrid and Keely helped with my appointment from start to finish. I will be recommending my whole family come here.

Having to find a new Denist after the one I've been seeing the past 30 years retired, wasn't any fun. I tried a few and didn't get that great of cleanings. I went to Clintonville Family Dentistry and Dr. Amini meet all my expectations. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Let me start off by saying that prior to going to Dr. Amini however many years ago, I haven't been to a dentist in years. She provided me good basic care at the time, and I went to her consistently for cleanings for several years. Whenever I had to get a filling, she took care of that as well. However, due to my insurance switch at work, I had to find a different dentist. My new dentist at a more upscale place pointed out that I had some issues showing up on the xray of my teeth that Amini filled; there way too much (Idk what it's called, either amalgam or composite) filling on my tooth that almost entirely covered the top surface of one of my back teeth and even filled overfilling onto the sides. That amount was not necessary. Dentists do not speak badly of one another due wanting to maintain a good referral customer base, but I had friend in the dental field look at my filling and was told it's "jacked up". That's when I realized that I thought I was getting good service when I simply didn't know any better until I went to someone else. She does a great job performing basic dental tasks, but the service quality decreases once things show any complications.

Dr. Amini is the best dentist around; she takes any concerns you have about your teeth seriously, she is very compassionate, and she does not do unnecessary dental work. She truly cares about the individual and spends plenty of time answering any questions I may have. I never feel rushed nor do I feel I am bothering her. She has been my dentist for well over 15 years and I would never trust my teeth to another dentist.
