Dr. Kevin Albert movedto Columbus from Chicago in 2014, but as a native Ohioan, raised in Toledo, he wasexcited to return to the Buckeye State. Heobtaineda Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from University of Florida. He thencompleted his dental training at Nova Southeastern University.In his spare time, Dr. Albert loveslive music and trying new foods. He is an avid sports fan, especially football.Being a young father, Dr. Albert spends much of his freetime with his son, Judah, daughter, Mina, and wife, Dara.

Dr. Jamal Latif was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He grew up in the restaurant industry working alongside his father, a chef. In 2008, they opened Lavash Cafe, a Mediterranean restaurant in Clintonville. Lavash Cafe has been critically acclaimed and a fixture of the Columbus restaurant scene. Through his work from a young age in the service industry, Dr. Latif was able to learn about the art of providing excellent hospitality to customers with a caring and personal touch.
Dr. Latif went to The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies. There he discovered his love of science and service, and that both could be combined through the practice of dentistry. After graduation from Ohio State with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2012, he pursued further training at University of Pittsburghs School of Public Health. At Pitt, he was able to dive into the larger context of the U.S. health care system and gained analytic skills to complement his eventual training in dentistry. He earned a Master of Public Health with an environmental and occupational health specialization.
Dr. Jamal returned to Columbus for clinical training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. There, he learned how to provide compassionate and clinically excellent care to address the needs of his patients. In 2019, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
He is a member of the Ohio Dental Association (ODA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Jamal is also an avid community leader in Clintonville, where he has been able to use his platform as a restaurant owner for community service on a wide range of issues, from refugee and immigrant needs to addressing food scarcity.
We are excited to welcome Dr James Haldeman to Clintonville Dental Group. Dr. Haldeman graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Biology prior to his DDS degree from The OSU, College of Dentistry. He then attended The Medical College of Toledo where he completed a General Dentistry Residency. The residency program provided Dr. Haldeman with advanced education and training in all aspects of Restorative Dentistry, with an emphasis on aesthetics and function.
Dr. Haldeman is a life-long learner and challenges himself to frequently enroll in courses that teach the latest techniques, procedures, and technologies in dentistry.Dr. Haldemans latest addition to his skills is the diagnosis and treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
As an experienced family dentist, Dr. Haldeman enjoys treating patients of all ages.He consults with each patient concerning the patients long-term dental health goals. This is vital to designing a dental treatment plan to help them achieve their goals. The type of dental treatment that is provided today will impact the quality of oral and general health for a lifetime.
Dr. Haldeman is a member of the Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Society. He is a founding member of the Central Ohio Study Club.
Cathy and her husband Richard reside in Westerville. They have four kids ranging in age from 30 to 15, so she stated that theres never a dull moment. In her spare time, Cathy can be found reading, playing the piano, or traveling with her family. As a graduate of the Ohio State University, she also loves following Buckeye Football and spending time with friends.
For the last four years she has worked in offices in Grand Rapids, MI, Toledo, OH, and now back home in Columbus, OH. This fall she will also finish her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health, with the goal to be an educator one day! Lainey is very active in the American Dental Hygienists Association and is currently the Secretary for the Ohio Dental Hygienists Association. She is very passionate about patient education and giving her patients the best care possible. In her free time, Lainey enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing piano, and taking her dogs Mia and Riley to the park!
Kristin joined the Clintonville Dental Group Family in July of 2019. She is new to Columbus and grew up in the Youngstown area. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
Kristin enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them with their dental health. She is an avid country music fan and attends many concerts. She lives with her german shepard puppy Cappie and her cat Weasly.
Dawn is our Dental Assistant and Clinical Team Leader She joined our practice in December 2017. She enjoys working with patients to ensure they are informed of all aspects of their oral health. After spending over 17 years in the dental field, Dawn is confident in her patient care abilities and her favorite part of her job is daily personal interactions with patients that creates long lasting relationships. To give our patients excellent dental care, Dawn has continued her education and is not only a Certified Dental Assistant, Licensed Dental Radiographer, but she also has her Coronal Polishing Certification.
Dawn and her husband, Tod, live in Powell with her two boys, three dogs and four cats. Dawn loves animals and enjoys time at the Zoo, camping around Lake Erie, and long walks in the Metro Parks. When she is not outside, she spends her time reading, listening to good music and laughing with her family. She looks forward to getting to know you.
LJ attended Dental Assisting School in Columbus and she is a licensed dental radiographer in Ohio and is also certified in Adult and child CPR/AED as well as infant CPR. She and her husband enjoy spending time together and with their two loveable dogs.
