Dr. Scott Clinton has been a practicing general dentist for over 35 years. After graduating from Northwestern Dental School, he completed a residency program in advanced dentistry and was on the attending staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital Dental Center for eight years, providing comprehensive care in a hospital based setting. He was a presenting faculty member for prosthetic and surgical training courses on Branemark Implants at the dental center. After extensive training in general and prosthetic dentistry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he began private practice in Park Ridge and has since moved the practice to Des Plaines. He maintains his faculty position at Northwestern and is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Clinton is the definition of a life-long learner and over the years has invested in the most up-to-date dental technology in order to ensure our patients receive optimum dental care. He not only prides himself in providing quality, comprehensive care, but also in treating each patient with the same kindness he would want his own family member to be treated.

Dr. Megan C. Welsh joined the practice in 2009 and is the daughter of Dr. Scott Clinton. She studied Spanish at the University of Illinois in Champaign and received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery as well as a Bachelors Degree in Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She loves working in the family practice. Like her father, she is a perfectionist and takes great pride in providing high quality dental care, while treating her patients in a compassionate manner best suited to each individual.

Carol is one of our Hygienists and a graduate of Harper College Hygiene program. She has had a professional relationship with Dr. Clinton for over 20 years. She was born in New York and lived in Utah and Germany before settling in the Chicago-land area. She has a wide range of experience in the dental field having practiced various positions over her 27 years in the dental field. Such positions include Dental Technician, Dental Assistant, and finally Dental Hygienist. Such familiarity to the various aspects of dentistry as well as her long-term relationships with the patients makes Carol a unique asset to the practice.

Connie is one of our Hygienists and a graduate of Northwestern University Hygiene program. She has been practicing for 25 years, many of those years being along side Dr. Clinton! She worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for a number of years and after her two children were born she joined us at Clinton Dental Professionals. Practicing with Dr. Clinton so many years has allowed her to develop unique relationships with her patients. Her experience, energy, and enthusiasm have made her a very valuable member of our team. Connie is an avid yogi and is enjoying her new life as an empty nester!

Dan is our Clinical Coordinator working beside our dentists as well as behind the scenes to provide the most efficient and effective care for our patients. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he studied communications with an emphasis in media studies. Given his knowledge of technology and his artistic eye, he is very involved in the design and fabrication of our Cerec restorations and also works in our on-site laboratory.

Mary is one of our Dental Assistants and has been with our practice for 20 years, worked in the dental profession for over 30 years, and has been a close friend of the Clinton family even longer! She is originally from Chicago and lives in Prospect Heights. Mary assists Dr. Clinton during all dental procedures and helps to maintain a safe, clean and productive environment. Most importantly, she takes pride in making sure every patient feels comfortable during their visit. When Mary is not at the office, she keeps very busy with family and friends. She enjoys cooking, gardening, golfing, and traveling.

Cindy has been working in the dental profession for over 30 years as both a Dental Assistant, certified at Triton College, and as a Dental Lab Technician, certified in dental ceramics. She has been working with Dr. Scott Clinton for over 18 years as a lab ceramist. She has the unique role in our office of working not only an assistant but also an on-site lab technician. Aside from her love for dentistry, she enjoys gardening, tennis and traveling to see her children that currently live out of state.

Mehgan is our Scheduling Coordinator and the friendly face youll see when you walk in the door! She has been a long time friend of the Clinton Family. She studied interior design at Harper College and began working in the dental field in 2014. She loves working in a family-oriented environment and enjoys the opportunity to interact and develop relationships with our patients. When she is not with us she enjoys photography, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Barb began working with us in 2015 as our Bookkeeper. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She really enjoys getting to know the patients and feels working at CDP is like working with extended family. Having been a loyal patient to Clinton Dental for many years, it has been a joy to have her join our team! In her free time she enjoys traveling, music and spending time with family and friends.

Anne is thewife of Dr. Scott Clinton and our long time Office Manager. She has recently stepped back from her full time position to spend more time with her grandchildren and do volunteer work utilizing her nursing background. She visits the office often as she has built strong relationships with many of our patients over the years, so you will definitely see her behind the front desk from time to time!
