An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. They're great with my kids! My husband hates dentists but willingly comes here. It's so nice to not have to fight to get an appointment and they actually take their time working on you, not just a quick-fix.

Dr. Austad is simply excellent. He has been my dentist for a number of years and I can't imagine a dentist that I could like more or feel more comfortable with. Even when it's apparent that I haven't shown my teeth the attention that I should have, I never feel hesitant to go in for an appointment because of he and his staff's approach. Yesterday I needed an immediate appointment. Shiann found a way to work me into the schedule and Dr. Austad dedicated the time needed to get my procedure started. Kaila worked with Dr. Austad and was very good, showing her skills throughout my visit. I had a number of options in my treatment approach and they made certain that I got all information needed to make an informed decision. Everyone at this clinic has always been very professional yet personable as well. From the minute I walk in the door until I leave, I am always impressed... I'm glad to have dental care at this level...

Iv taken both my kids in to get wisdom teeth out. I was able to get them in at the same time for this. It went so smooth for both kids. In and out no problems.

Love coming to this dental office it's always nice and clean, they treat you with respect and don't make rude comments about your teeth, no matter how bad your teeth are, they make you feel great and take care of you the best way possible. The thing I like most is they don't take advantage of how much they can make off of you, and they give you a plan for your teeth to keep them healthy that works for you. My husband and I use them for us, and our kids use their pediatric side and We have always had a great experience.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and let me know exactly how much my crown would be and what my insurance covered. During my cleaning and procedure everything was explained to me on what they were doing. I feel I got great treatment and would recommend this office.

I went to Clinton Dental Group today after I had called literally 27 other places in the area, and none of them could fit me in. The wait was minimal, the establishment was clean and Shiann was really nice. Dr. Longfellow was very personable. It was a really, really good visit despite the amount of pain I was in and the fact that my extraction took so long due to infection. The only issue I had with my service was that if you're applying for a line of credit, what they don't tell you is that it DOES impact your score. My transunion went down by one point and my equifax went down by like, three. Apart from that, the service was pretty prompt considering that I needed two different types of x-rays and had to wait for the numbing to kick in.

My super power is metabolizing pain meds. They don't work on me so dental work is an agonizing expierience. This dentist took his time to make me comfortable and worked quickly so I could be as comfortable as possible. This dentis was senstive to my individual needs and I will refer him and this office with everyone I meet. Great job with the whole team.

Had my first visit here last week and I saw Dr.Skonhovd and she was incredible! The way she explained things, her bedside manner, everything. They welcomed me with a smile and treated me like a friend. Very friendly environment with upbeat and just kind employees all around. Also thanks to Shiann for your help at my visit and getting me in so quick and being so kind. Definitely will be sticking around!!

My wife went to your office for a cleaning. Everything went well on the cleaning the only issue she has been experiencing is twice, she has come in for a cleaning and expected to see Dr Austad to look at her teeth and give his assessment but it's always been a different dentist she's not familiar with. She deals with anxiety it takes a lot for her to go to the dentist in the first place and when she doesn't even get seen by the dentist she trusts and expects to be seen by it makes it hard for her to want to come back or continue going to him. The last dentist she saw at your office had poor bedside manner when she came in she looked at the X-rays said what needed to be done and didn't explain why just that she needs 2 crowns and so on ...Dr Austad doesn't do that he's friendly, patient and explains what needs to be fixed and works with you. My wife and I both just want to be seen by the dentist we pay and trust that's why we go too him not someone else. Review changed... We called and worked this out with the office manager and we're excited to move forward with this dental office!

I had about 8 cavities filled over the past few months, and almost all of them are extremely painful months later, one even ended up not being done right, and has now abscess and needs a root canal, on top of that during one of my appointments I mentioned how one filling the dentist previously did was hurting so the dentist redid it,...then on my way out, charged me for it AGAIN, even though i previously paid for it once before..I'm now going back to my old dentist to have what I can fixed so I can finally be out of pain. After posting my review the office did call me to have me come back in and see another dentist in their office to fix my problems. I had considered it, but decided I am done with this place. The only good thing I got from it was that mostly everyone was very nice during my appointments. Do not recommend
