Dr. Judith K.K. Schmidt attended Minot State University for biology, chemistry, and economics. Dr. Schmidt then entered the University of Minnesota School Of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then completed a one year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. The additional education and training she received during that year enabled her to provide additional services to the residents of the Wahpeton, Breckenridge and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Schmidt returned to her native state of North Dakota and opened The Clinic for Oral Health, a general dental clinic in Wahpeton, ND. Dr. Schmidt frequently attends advanced dental education courses in all aspects of dentistry, some of which include implant placement and restoration, sedation, laser therapy and advanced esthetics programs amongst many others. She is very focused on offering comprehensive dental care to her patients and discussing all treatment options available for each patient's individual oral health condition and goals. Dr. Schmidt is also passionate about providing her services to various dental mission organizations both in her community and also abroad. When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time in many activities with her children, grandchildren, family members and friends.

The Clinic for Oral Health welcomed Danielle to our team and brings with her extensive insurance knowledge from her years of previous insurance experience. She enjoys visiting with everyone, greeting you with a warm, friendly smile and much kindness. Aleviating questions regarding insurance benefits is one of her many assets she has added to our team. Danielle resides in Fairmont with her husband, Kelly, and daughters Graci and Josi. In her free time, she enjoys canning, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. You will also find her out at the sofball diamonds with her daughters and their teammates while helping the coach were she is needed. Danielle looks forward to meeting each patient.

Chloe joined The Clinic for Oral Health in 2016 in both the dental hygiene & dental assisting roles. She is now providing full time hygiene services as her primary role and is an overall energetic part of the team. Chloe is very thorough in developing an individualized home care regimen & the necessary education for each patient. If you ask Chloe what her favorite part about her career is. she states it is getting to know the patients, educating them about good oral health, and then seeing that they understood what was demonstrated to them. Chloe's passion for her career is driven by her patients. 'It is always a great feeling when you have a patient come back and you see improvements in their oral health from what you have taught them.' Chloe was born and raised in Breckenridge, MN which is where she lives with her husband, David, and their sons Briar and Bowen. In her free time, her family enjoys being at the farm, hanging out with family and friends, being at the lake, and traveling.

Liza joined The Clinic for Oral Health in 2018 as a dental hygienist. Liza graduated in 2016 from North Dakota State College of Science with her degree and worked in Watertown, SD as a dental hygienist for two years prior to joining our team. Liza is a very dedicated provider who greets each patient with her warm welcome and bright smile. She enjoys the profession of dental hygiene because of the opportunity it gives her to meet people, assist them with their oral health, educate them, and make an impact on their daily lives. Liza really enjoys getting to know her patients so she can help them attain their oral health goals. She grew up in rural Fairmount where she and her husband, Levi, enjoy training horses, participating in rodeos, and in cowboy mounted shooting as their hobbies. Together, they have 5 horses and a puppy who enjoys traveling with them to weekend events.

Makenzie joined The Clinic for Oral Health as a registered dental assistant in August of 2018. She obtained her degree from North Dakota State College of Science. With this being her first dental assisting position, she enjoys learning from Dr. Schmidt and the dental team. Makenzies favorite part of being a dental assistant is acquiring new skills every day and seeing the smile on the face of patients she interacts with. Makenzie is a very quick study and has learned to provide very strong assisting skills while caring for each patient. When you have the privilege of meeting her, you will instantly appreciate her bubbly personality and compassionate care. Makenzie lives in Wahpeton with her boyfriend, Sam. In her free time, she enjoys camping and being outdoors with friends and family.

Lexi joined The Clinic for Oral Health as a Dental Assistant in July of 2019 after obtaining her degree from North Dakota State College of Science in July of 2018. Lexiss favorite part about her career is that she gets to assist in the enhancement of a patient's health while creating smiles that boost their confidence and self-esteem. Lexi is a very dedicated team member who prides herself on being well prepared for each patient's arrival. In her role as a dental assistant and overall great team member, she continually increases her knowledge so she can educate each patient regarding their home care following treatment. She meets you with her gentle demeanor and pleasant smile. Born and raised in Hankinson, ND, Lexi enjoys reading, going to the lake, and spending time with her family, friends and her dog.

Erica has joined The Clinic for Oral Health to provide clinical support following the COVID related changes to the clinic. Erica greets each patient at the entrance vestibule to review COVID related health questions, provide a mask if not being worn by the person, obtain each patient's temperature, provide hand sanitizer and welcome them to the clinic. She is repeatedly complimented by the many patients who observe her vital role in wiping down the doors and door handles, counters, furniture, and overall waiting areas after each person. In addition to her excellent attention to that detail, she has trained to assist with the medical grade sterilization center within the clinic. Erica is in the midst of her studies at Minnesota State and Community Technical College to become a dental assistant so all of the excellent support she provides to the patients and clinical team will be a great asset as she continues her pre-dental assisting studies. Wahpeton is Erica's hometown. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and traveling with every opportunity she has. We also hear she is quite a cook.
