It is the mission of Clifty Family Dental to provide our patients with the best care available, and to aid those patients to accept that care in an effort to invest in their dental health and improve their lives.

Dr. Linda Wehner has been practicing family dentistry for almost 30 years in Madison, Indiana. She follows in her fathers footsteps to become the second generation to pursue a dental profession. At a young age she began assisting her father in his dental practice in California, where she was raised.

Dr. Wehner graduated from Brigham Young University before being accepted into the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Program, where she graduated fifth in her class in 1991. She worked along-side other dentists for the first 5 years, then opened her own dental office, Clifty Family Dental, in 1996 at its present location of 1105 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN.

Besides being a business owner and dentist, she and her husband raised four children, managed a small farm and have served in various callings in their church. She also enjoys traveling to Utah to visit her four grandchildren.

Dr. Wehners daughter Caroline Simkins will be graduating in August of 2019 with a Dental Hygiene license and a Bachelor of Science degree, and her son Paul Wehner has just completed his first year of dental school at A.T. Still School of Dentistry in Kirksville, Missouri.

Dr. Wehner is committed to providing her patients with compassionate and gentle care. She and her staff are dedicated to helping each patient with their immediate dental concerns, and in providing competent and knowledgeable long-term dental care.

Doctor Ranney is a native of Southern Indiana. He was originally born in Louisville, Kentucky, but soon moved to Indiana as a young child. Most of his childhood was spent in Jeffersonville, as well as the area of Floyds Knobs.

He obtained his undergraduate degree from Indiana University where he majored in Biology in the pre-medical track offered at the University. Like Doctor Wehner, he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He embraces the mixture of technology, science and medicine in a modern dental practice.

Dr. Ranney met the love of his life, Ginger in 2014. She is a native of Tennessee and is a beloved-by-her-students school teacher. They were married in 2015 and Ginger moved to Indiana where they now live in Jeffersonville.

Their family doesnt have any children, but they are busy raising their spunky Havanese dog, Smalls, who was named for the character in the motion picture The Sandlot. Dr. Ranney and his wife love going out to see movies, attending concerts of their favorite bands and artists, and they love to travel. Spending time with family and friends is really important to them, and whenever possible they jump at the chance to take a ride on a Segway!

The office manager at Clifty Family Dental, Ron Wehner, is a Madison native and a sixth generation member of his family to live in our hometown. He is a 1972 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Evansville.

Ron worked for 29 years at The Madison Courier, and left there in 2009 to expand his part-time duties at Clifty Family Dental to become the full-time office manager after the completion of the second office expansion. He and his wife, Dr. Linda Wehner, established Clifty Family Dental in 1996 at its present location of 1105 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN.

Ron and Linda raised their four children: Hayley, Paul, Caroline and Benjamin on their small Hanover farm where they enjoyed raising their sheep, goats, chickens, dairy cows and miniature horse. Presently, they have four grandchildren living in Utah, who love to come visit the farm. Two more grandchildren are on the way this year.

Mechele was born and raised in Sacramento, California, where she attended Sacramento State University. While living in California she spent 12 years as a registered dental assistant (RDA) before bringing her dental skills to Madison, Indiana in 2009. Mechele is happily married and has six children. When she isnt working at the dental office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, riding her horses and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.

Roxanne grew up in Minnesota and married her high school sweetheart. They lived in Utah for several years where she and her husband both attended Brigham Young University and had four children before moving to Madison. When her youngest child was in high school, Roxanne came to work for Clifty Family Dental at the front desk. She loves to read, cook and does genealogy research. She enjoys every moment she can spend with her two grandchildren, Fox and Juniper.

Ella obtained her Associate Degree in Applied Science from the International Business College. She has 7 years of dental experience, including 5 years as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA). She has a wonderful rapport with our patients, and she really enjoys helping people. Ella is married and she and her husband love their dogs and they really enjoy when they get the chance to travel. Ella is planning to expand her care by going on a dental mission trip!

Katelyn was born and raised in Madison. She attended the Career Center in Versailles for dental assisting, and was also certified at ATA college in Louisville for expanded functions. She has 6 years of dental experience, with 4 of those years as an EDDA. Katelyn enjoys helping others. Her dog Bella is her baby! She is planning to continue her education into being a dental hygienist.
