Dr. Linda Wang Lam, DDS, MS,is a Board-Certified Periodontist practicing in the New York Capital Region. Dr. Lam earned her dental degree from New York University. During her dental training, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, and was the recipient of the Quintessence Award for Clinical Excellence in Periodontics.
Dr. Lam completed her periodontics specialty training at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester. While completing her residency, Dr. Lam also earned a masters degree in dental sciences. For her work in periodontal regeneration, she has received numerous research awards including the Basil G. Bibby Fellowship and the Dr. James T. Mellonig Research Award.
Dr. Lam is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. She was honored with the Leslie M. Salkin Award for earning the highest score on the board certification exam in the nation.
As a periodontist, Dr. Lam specializes in the treatment of the supporting structures of the teeth (i.e. the gums and jawbones), as well as dental implants. She has received extensive training in advanced procedures including the surgical treatment of periodontal disease, periodontal plastic surgery for gum recession, bone grafting, and dental implant placement. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Lam also serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Hudson Valley Community College Dental Hygiene Department.

My experience at Clifton Park Periodontics was great. The staff was friendly. The staff was caring and made sure I was comfortable from the moment I walked in, from reception to the room. Dr.Lam was great in walking me through the X-rays and where things are going south. Her recommendations were what I had expected it to be based on my personal research. She was also sensitive during the procedures I had accepted to get done. Costs and discounts were explained clearly and I knew where I stood with payment for services. Overall experience is great and would recommend this business for anyone that is looking for a new periodontist.

Has periodontal (osseus) surgery. I've seen 2 other periodontists in my life and Dr Lam was better than both of the combined. Clean office, I've never really had to wait, she is easy to talk to.

I highly recommend Dr.Lam. She is an excellent and professional periodontist and surgeon. Her staff is very welcoming and office is clean. I am very pleased at the outcome of my gum grafting. Dr. Lam called me later in the day of my surgery to check to see how I was feeling. That meant the world to me and my recovery.

Dr Linda Lam removed my infected implant. Dr Lam is exceptional; her staff is excellent, and her new practice at Clifton Park Periodontics is extremely convenient, within minutes of the Northway exit. i had minimal or no swelling. I followed her precisely written, after care instructions and just received my first followup exam. The bone graft is still in place. Thank you Thank you Dr Lam.

I recently had work done at the office. My experience was very good. The office was clean and well kept. All of the staff were welcoming and professional. Dr Lam was great. She is very detail oriented, honest, and compassionate towards her patients. I would recommend Clifton Park periodontics to my family and friends.

Dr.Lam was extremely courteous and professional. She took the time to carefully explain the dental situation, outcomes, etc. I haven't had many people explain the whys and wherefores and options, so she was very refreshing. The procedures themselves went very smoothly and there was careful follow up. Office people were quick, professional, and courteous as well. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend this office for your periodontal needs. Linda Lam is a very knowledgeable periodontist and skilled surgeon. She performed 4 surgeries on me and each one was completed without pain and minimal post-surgery discomfort. Linda is very patient and explains all options available based on your needs. The entire office staff is very professional, and friendly. The facility is new and kept very clean.

I have had gum infection issues that kept deteriorating over the past years. Late last year I was referred to Dr Lam by my dentist. Since then I have been receiving multiple treatments. I'm always nervous about dental procedures. The series of gum treatments was well planned, explained, and through the steps I have become more confident how it will work.
