I continue to participate in education because its a great way to stay informed about new findings in the field and to constantly evaluate how I, as a doctor, am doing. New technology, techniques, and knowledge are constantly being added to orthodontics, and I believe that I must be current with it all to deliver the best quality care possible. Sometimes things move so fast it is like seeing a small piece of history in the making.

I consider myself a highly trained professional who is constantly being reeducated in the profession. It comforts me to know of the newest improvements and skills and how they will impact orthodontics directly and indirectly. I am always happy to educate you about the particulars of your treatment. I am entirely devoted to my wife and our children and love living in Chowchilla, CA. I am involved in the community byway of the Merced Downtown Rotary Club. When I can I enjoy flying airplanes, boating, shooting sports, and viticulture. I like excitement and being active.
I joined the Lauritzen family in 2007. I really enjoy interacting with our patients and seeing the amazing smiles created br Dr. Lauritzen and the team. I was born and raised in Merced, Ca and married by highschool sweetheart. We have two children, two dogs, tow birds and a cat: aka the Hill zoo. In My spare time you can find me at the beach, enjoying time with the family and friends, and walking my dogs.

No only is this office beautiful, but the staff is so friendly! Dr. Lauritzen gave me an honest opinion on what my daughter needs and that's a rare quality these days! I really appreciate them and their willingness to do what is best for my child. I can tell they genuinely care about their patients.

Dr. Lauritzen and his staff were so incredible for my daughters first visit. She is only 7 and was so nervous. When we left she said she was ready to come back and she won't be nervous at all because they were so kind and friendly.

Im giving them 2 stars I had to return twice in different occasions to have them fix my sons brackets that fell because they didn't place them on properly. Also they need to have better payment arrangements and better communication skills . They didn't communicate with me my payment options so I was charged with extra fees they didn't communicate with me. If you don't ask questions they don't let you know anything. Front office staff not the most pleasant.

We are just beginning our orthodontic journey and sought several opinions before settling on Dr. Lauritzen. His approach has been the most gentle and least-invasive. We enjoy visiting the office and all interactions with staff.

It was my daughter's first visit and everyone made us feel very welcome here. Dr Lauritzen took lots of time to explain the treatment plan and made me feel extremely at ease. Everyone from the receptionist to the gal who took my daughter's photos to the Dr made this the best possible experience you could have! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Dr. Lauritzen called me personally to let me know of his followup with my general dentist and periodontist. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but this was a new experience for me. He called me directly....on my personal phone. His staff is helpful, kind, and professional. If you're anywhere close to Merced and in need of Orthodontic work, he's your guy! Though I'm paying you well, thank you Clifton, and may God continue to bless your practice.
