Dentistry is not a job; it is a way of life. I grew up with it, I learned the benefits of it as a small fry, and have continued to be a student of dentistry and will be for life. I am always learning and modifying my techniques and striving to provide for my patients in a fashion that no one else can. Dentistry combines a helping profession with creativity like no other field. I feel certain that our dental practice changes the way our patients look at dentistry with the comfort, confidence, and knowledge we treat them like family.

I am most passionate about developing caring, long-lasting relationships with my patients and their coveted friends and family. My patients know that I will do everything possible for them to receive the best care, comfortably. This practice, started more than 60 years ago by my father, Dr. Edward B. Kayne, and his partner, has generations of families as patients, amongst our newer patients, too. As I grew up locally, I am honored to take care of numerous people from my past. Dr. Matthew Kayne completed his undergraduate education at Union College in Schenectady, New York. Continuing in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Kayne completed Ivy League training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he earnedhis Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He is wellexperiencedand able to handle the most straightforward or complex scenarios with comfort and concern for his patients well-being.

Dentistry is an evolving medical science, with constantly changing techniques and materials. For his entire career, Dr. Kayne has been dedicated to providing his patients with the most complete diagnosis, logical treatment options, and themost comfortable, time-tested craftsmanship and care that dentistry has to offer. To stay abreast of what is current in implants, aesthetics, cosmetics, and general dentistry, Dr. Kayne attends continuing education through world-renowned organizations such asthe Dawson Institute, Spear Institute, and Passaic County ITI Study Club.

Dr. Kayne and his wife Lori have been married for 29 years. They are blessed with three children: Jon lives and works in San Francisco, Bryan works in Jersey City and lives in NYC, and Allie is a college student and considering her career options. Dr. Kaynes free time is spent with his family, working out, cooking, and volunteering in the community.

He has been a member of the board of education since 2008 and has thoroughly enjoyed his time helping the school district. As Dr. Kayne says, My children received a wonderful education in public school. I felt the need to give back to the district because, after all, education is the foundation for their careers. I feel confident that the board has helped other children, children who have come along with and after mine, to enjoy a good education, too.

I strive to provide trusted, comprehensive, caring dentistry to all my patients and their families. It is my privilege to practice dentistry with such an amazing group of dental professionals. Dr. Tuckman is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and graduatedin 1986 with a Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. Dr. Tuckman completed a one-year general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and an additional year of private practice in Bostonbefore his association with Dr. Kayne here in Clifton.

Dr. Tuckman spends numerous hours on coursework in cosmetic, implant, and otherphases of general dentistry. His commitment to continuing education earned him a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He hasattendedAesthetic Advantage in New York City,theDawson Academy, and Invisalign workshops, and is a member of animplant study club.

Dr. Tuckman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Passaic County Dental Society. Hehas earned aprestigious fellowship inthe Academy of General Dentistry.

He was recognized in New Jersey Monthly as a Top Dentist in 2004-2005, selected as one of Americas Best Dentists of 2004-2005, and voted by Consumers Research Council of America as one of Americas Top Dentists from 2004 to 2015.

Originally from Long Island, Dr. Tuckman currently resides in Morris County with his wife. They have three children. Dr. Tuckman enjoys playing tennis and basketball, cycling, hiking, and traveling on family vacations.

I have spent the past 25 yearsalmost my entire careerat Clifton Dental Associates, caring for the health and well-being of our wonderful patients by providing gentle hygiene care. Our team sincerely cares about providing the level of treatment to make smiles beautiful and healthy. I love my job for many reasons, but especially because I get to meet and interact with so many people every day. Life is all about who you meet along the way and what you learn from it!

When Imnot working, my husband Bob and I love to explore different destinations, and eatand drinkour way to new experiences in different cities and countries. I also love volunteering with cancer walks, blood donations, environmental cleanups, and helping out our local community.

Valeria has been a Dental Hygienist since 2015. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from New York University College of Dentistry and her Bachelors in Biology from California State University of Los Angeles. Valeria is very passionate about patient and dental hygiene. She insures the best care and personalize recommendations for each patient. Valeria performs dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings and periodontal treatment.

Mindy graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from NYU College of Dentistry. Her mission is to make her patients feel comfortable, and to help them achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. Her passion for oral health has enabled her to provide the utmost quality care for all of her patients. Mindy is proud to contribute towards the warm and professional environment that patients experience at Clifton Dental Associates.

Lindaloves to travel. She is honored to be the mother of three andis a very dedicated baseball mom with college, high school, and club teams. She is also the proud mother of a new Temple University graduate.

Cookie has been working as a dental assistant for more than 20 years. She has worked alongside Dr. Kayne since 2004. She is an integral part of our team and treats every patient with love, care and concern. She enjoys seeing all of the new technology that has emerged over the years in the dental field.

Lara has been with Clifton Dental Associates since 2005. She is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a BA in Psychology. She also obtained a Registered Dental Assistants licensure in her native California. Lara strives to assure our office provides each and every patient an individualized and memorable experience with a focus on care and concern to all of their dental needs. Ensuring that all of our patients receive an optimal dental experience.

Lorraine is a native of Clifton and has been with the front office of Clifton Dental Associates for more than20 years. She is a graduate of Pope Pius XII HS in Passaic, and a graduate of Sawyer Business School inClifton.Her favorite part of working for Dr. Kayne and Dr. Tuckman is to see the satisfaction that patients get fromthe professionalism and expertise that both doctors share with all patients.

Karen has been with Clifton Dental Associates since 2004. Shegraduated from the University of Texas with an Associates Degree in Business. Her experience in the financial and insurance arenashelp our patients understand and afford the treatment they need and want.

Jennifer is a graduate of Oakton College with a degree in Liberal Arts. She has been working in the dental industry for over 18 years and joined the team at Clifton Dental Associates in 2020. Her experience and love of dentistry inspires her everyday to help patients smile again with confidence.

On her time off she dedicates herself to her husband, three kids, and dog. She loves to travel and explore new places with her family or friends. Her style is always making time for everything while keeping a work life balance.
