Dr. Sedehi graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1982 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now known as Rutgers University. He has proudly been serving the New Jersey and New York community for over 35 years. He has had extensive training throughout his career in all aspects of dentistry, including endodontics, periodontics, crown and bridge-work, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry. He stays up to date with the latest technology and innovations in dentistry and is constantly adding to his wealth of knowledge to further his trade and expertise. Dr. Sedehi prides himself in having a practice that is extremely personable and promotes close, lifelong relationships. He is thrilled to welcome his daughter, Dr. Atusa, to the practice, to continue on his vision and provide quality care to his patients. In his free time, Dr. Sedehi loves to travel, play soccer, and spend time with his wife, kids, and granddaughter.
Dr. Atusa earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She is a second generation dentist, who is fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work alongside her father. She was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and is very excited to be back serving her community. She prides herself in being a lifelong learner in the field of dentistry, and focuses on patient comfort and satisfaction. Dr. Atusa loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and treating them based on their individual goals, and needs. Her favorite part of dentistry is having the ability to alleviate a patients pain and giving them the confidence to smile again. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and pilates.

At first, I was scared to be getting an extraction but Dr Atusa put me on laughing gas and it calmed me down and I didnt feel a thing while she was working on my teeth. She is very kind and patient. I would recommend her to everyone.

Staff was friendly. Got a teeth cleaning from the male Dentist. It was rushed, rough, and i left with plaque in between my teeth. One of the worst cleanings I've had.

The staff was warm and professional and this was the best dental experience I have ever had. She was constantly checking in, gentle, thorough and seemed very appreciative that I chose her office. Highly recommend her if you are someone who has had bad experiences or have had some type of dental trauma. Her calming presence kept me at ease and co-operative.

My elderly mother in law was completely taken advantage of a couple of months ago by Dr. Ahmad Sedehi. He wanted to charge her $10,000 for work he claimed she needed. She's on low income "but no problem you can put it on your credit card" they told her. The family got involved and took her for 2nd & 3rd opinions which both dentists told us that Dr. Sedehi's recommendations were EXAGGERATED!!! She was able to get her issues taken care of for $500 but not before Dr. Ahmad Sedehi scammed her out of $1900 that she's still paying off. Please, please get a second opinion before you have any work done here or better yet STAY AWAY!!

I don't how it's been so easy for me to get an appointment at this location. The receptionist had said luck. I got a cleaning and wisdom tooth pulled out and didn't feel a pull or scratch. I would recommend anyone afraid of dentists to this place.

Beware of Dentist!!! I went to Dr. Sedehi 5/17/2021 for a deep teeth cleaning and have a bonded tooth re-bonded. The tooth couldn't be re-bonded so he convinced me that Veneers are a better , long lasting option. To prep the teeth for the veneers, my teeth had to be minimally "buffed down" for the Veneers to adhere. He FILED my Teeth too much. The sensitivity pain was Hellacious, but he assured me this is normal and once the veneers are placed I will have no sensation pain. The Veneers were PERMANENTLY cemented to my teeth May 21st. Not only did the pain not go away, the veneers are misaligned, uneven, bonded together, there are GLOBS of cement between and behind my teeth. There are gaps where the veneer is not aligning with my gums and/or teeth, leaving gaps for bacteria to get under the center and the gums. The Sensitivity pain was excruciating. I went 5/25 as an emergency to Dr. Robert Rioseco a Cosmetic Dental Specialist. Dr. Rioseco was so shocked and disgusted at the horrible condition of my teeth, he phoned Dr. Sedehi. Dr. Sedehi was most defensive, belligerent and unprofessional. Besides having to have them ALL REMOVED and done over, because Dr. Sedehi filed down too much on my front tooth and the tooth next to it, I have to have 2 ROOT CANALS on these teeth yesterday.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fast I was taken in during my appointment. Usually you need to wait an hour after your appointment but I was taken right away. The doctor was kind but I did feel a bit rushed. I would have liked to have a moment to discuss some options after my cleaning he just left quiet quickly. Also I felt he didn't even look at my Xrays. To be fair he may have looked at them in his office before coming into the examination room. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. Overall I would return.

I have gone to this dental group care for the last 6 months. I went for 2 emergent visits and 1 dental, annual cleaning. All in all, this dental group care/dentist is truly impeccable, to say the least! They are timely and speedy in a very efficient manner. Their overall service and quality and professional and exceptionally friendly staff (family-owned business and friends working together) were beyond words could explain. I felt so very comfortable and at ease with their care and services. They accept all major medical insurances. Any out of pocket or no medical insurance is also available. The price for an annual cleaning is about 150 dollars out of pocket. Furthermore, Dr. Atusa Sedehi (The daughter) is so well-knowledgeable and will keep you informed with explanations as to your care along every step of the way. You do not feel left behind or in the dark as some dentists may not explain thoroughly to you. But, Dr. Atusa Sedehi was very much appreciated and on-point with her explanations while in her care. I went in for an emergent visit in the end of May 2021 due to 2 teeth that may have been aggravated 2 days ago following a meal. Dr. Atusa Sedehi was thorough, knowledgeable, insightful, and experienced overall, explaining the situations on a medical standpoint so one is not left confused. The services are thorough yet efficient. Cleanings take about 40 minutes that are also thorough and detailed. Emergent visits take about 30 minutes. The dental chairs are ridiculously comfortable, I would say. The front desk of Narges and Sima (Lindsay), were both such immensely positive and free-spirited individuals with smiles so genuine, making you feel welcomed and at home and in good hands. If I could rate more than 5 stars on this review, then they would deserve 10 stars or even more. I cannot thank them enough. They even offered freshly-brewed coffee for family members or friends when in the waiting lobby. Of course, no coffee for the patients yet to be seen for their appointment.... Parking is limited and street parking so there are meters that accept coins. This is the one draw back to the office is their parking.... I will be back for the next annual cleaning! They do not disappoint!

Dr. Atusa Sedehi - I just went for my 2nd visit with Dr. Atusa Sedehi. I love, love, love her! She is absolutely the most gentle, caring and sensitive dentist I've ever been to. She listens to your concerns and handles them in a very professional manner. Her office staff is also wonderful from the receptionist to her assistant. I would highly recommend this office to all. Give them a try you won't ne disappointed. Get those teeth cleaned!
