Dr. George Dawoud received his Bachelors in Science from the New York Institute of Technology and then graduated from the Howard University College of Dentistry with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He completed his post-doctoral training in Advanced General Dentistry at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington D.C. where he learned management of patients. Wanting to further his knowledge in advanced dentistry, Dr. Dawoud completed an additional post-doctoral training year in the area of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Jacobi and Mount Sinai Hospitals in New York City. Among other foundational clinical skills, his extensive training has provided expertise in advanced surgical techniques in implant placement for full mouth reconstructions, wisdom teeth extractions, management of medically complex patients, as well as a host of other valuable knowledge that he brings to the field of Dentistry.
Dr. Dawoud continues to expand his knowledge and passion by attending dental seminars on the latesttechnology and techniques to best serve his patients. He is a certified Invisalign Provider and member of the Bergen County and New Jersey Dental Associations.
Outside of dentistry Dr. Dawoud enjoys traveling with his wife and exploring restaurants in the NYC metro area where he spent most of his life. You can usually find him behind a camera lens, as photography has become a newly acquired hobby, allowing him to capture and cherish every moment with an artistic lens. He sees dentistry as an art, allowing him to express his creative side as he views each person as an individual while attending to their specific needs. Dr. Constantine Christoliass interests in clinical dentistry began when he served in the United States armed forces as a certified dental lab technician. After being honorably discharged from the United States Army, he pursued his undergraduate degree in the biological sciences at Hunter College, ultimately graduating with honors (cum laud). He was accepted at multiple top 10 dental schools in the United States. He decided to pursue his dental studies close to home at a distinguished Columbia University School of Dental in oral surgery where he graduated amongst the highest in his class. After completing an elective general dental residency, he returned to Columbia University as an instructor at the dental school.
At the same time his private practice took roots in Cliffside Park NJ, a practice where he has been devoted to his patients for the past 30 years. He has maintained his clinical excellence through continuing education courses and tireless studies of the advances in dentistry. He possesses the skill, expertise and experience to provide patients and their family comprehensive, reconstructive, restorative, and cosmetic dental care. He has numerous awards and distinctions including Top Dentists by the consumer research council of America.
We are writing you to share some very exciting news concerning our dental practice. For more than 30 years, we have served the community of Cliffside Park with great joy. With the start of my retirement, I have decided to transition the care of my patients to Cliffside Family Dentistry, Dr. George Dawoud, effective September 10th, 2020. It is important for me to convey how much I have truly enjoyed my time working with each one of you and how much I will cherish the years I have spent at this practice. My wife and I are very much looking forward to the time off, as we plan to spend the time off following the transition cherishing more moments with our children and grandchildren. At this time, we find comfort in Dr. Dawoud as we enter this next stage of our lives.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Dr. George Dawoud, as he and I have maintained a long standing relationship, and I found him to be the most suitable and qualified doctor for the transition. My current staff will also be continuing alongside Dr. Dawoud and working with him to maintain a similar familial environment, which we have cultivated for many years. I find great joy in the time I spend with Dr. Dawoud, as I see much of my younger self in him. He maintains a fine balance between being professional as well as sociable, creating a comforting environment and exhibiting excellent chairside manner. He is exceptionally skilled and cares about the comfort of each patient as an individual. Over the upcoming weeks, I will be working alongside Dr. Dawoud in order to make this transition as smooth as possible. My first visit was the experience of an excruciating pain on one of my teeth. After many calls to different dentists, I needed an appointment. Called up C.F Dentistry and took my appointment same day. It was a relief. All of the staff members are courteous, friendly, listen and answer your questions pertaining to dental work and hygiene. I thank them very much. I definitely recommend CFD for any dental work needed.

Clean, professional and caring to children. My daughter was always afraid of going to the dentist. After her first visit she could not wait to go back. The hygienist and dentist were patient and made sure that my daughter was comfortable. I very much appreciate everyone who works here including the office staff.

I have been going to Cliffside Family Dentistry for years and they are by far the best dental office I've been to. I love them so much I even drive 1 hour now to get there. The hygienists are all very thorough and care deeply about their patients. They are all kind and always make me feel at home. Dr. Dawoud is the best, he always has the best solution, he's very thorough and knows exactly what he's doing. He is also always keeping up with latest technology and knowledge base is sharp. I am so glad that I found Cliffside Family Dentistry! In both of my visits here, I had a great experience. Which still feels a little bit strange to say because I normally have such a big fear of dentists! Doctor George Dawoud was very friendly and thoughtful. I dislike needles a lot but anesthesia was a must for the two deep dental cleanings I required. When Dr. Dawoud administered the anethesia, he was very gentle and as calming as possible. I really appreciated that and it has helped me a ton! My hygenist Sibil, whom I had spent the majority of my dental visits with-- was just amazing. Sibil was sweet, thoughtful and such a pleasure to chat with. I'm looking forward to my dental cleanings now! :) I look forward to going back to get more work done with my new dental family again!

First time going there - dental hygienist/dentist Ghazal was very welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive to everything. Very friendly personnel also. The doctor was very friendly and took his time explaining everything that I needed to know. . I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. All my family will be going there :)!

Haven't been to a dentist in a long time, and was nervous about the process. However the staff and dental hygienist/dentist were very welcoming and knowledgeable in their explanations. Very friendly personnels and clean & cozy environment. Felt so comfortable here while getting my teeth examined/cleaned ! Thank you ALL for providing an AMAZING patient service experience with your professionalism !!! Wish I can give ya'll 10 stars, but let's start with FIVE (wink) !! Definitely will be referring to others =)

I found this practice through my insurance and was expecting the typical dental experience: a thorough cleaning and some x rays and maybe fill a cavity. And as far as that went, everything was really very good. Great even. It was easy to make an appointment, the office was nice and clean, and the practitioners (including Dr. Dawoud) were both very gentle and pleasant. It turns out that I have to get a retreatment for my root canal. And this is how this office really distinguished itself from typical medical/dental offices. I've had terrible experiences with cranky office managers who treat their doctors like they're royalty and treat patients like they're nuisances. In contrast, Cliffside is very patient-friendly. And just plain friendly. They did a great job coordinating with my Endo (root canal dentist), who isn't very good at managing the business. Dr. Dawoud put a lot of effort into handling all of the details related to the retreatment with my Endo. He called him directly and discussed my case. That's so wild because Cliffside makes no money from that--it was just done to see that I was taken care of. So many medical practices churn through their patients. This was the opposite. Dr. Dawoud offered to do more but I was embarrassed at the amount of attention that I was already getting. I felt like I was taking advantage. It's nice to be treated so well. I'll resume my visit with Cliffside once the root canal is re-done. It's weird to say, but I'm looking forward to visiting the dentist!

Friendly staff from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. Gisele has incredible hands, she was very gentle and knowledgeable. Dr. Dawood is very good, attentive, and explains procedures in detail. My gums and teeth feel amazing and I don't have soreness at all. I would definitely recommend this office.
