Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I stopped by the office because of some promotion that they were offering at the time, and thought "it's just like every other dentist office , might as well get a discount off it." I was amazed with Dr. Vu! Mind you, I only came in for a check-up/cleaning. Dr. Vu took so good care of my teeth! She check every single tooth and even took extra time for the teeth in the back of my mouth. I never had a dentist that was so thorough! The other dentists just rush through my mouth. After the check-up, Dr. Vu informed me that I had a cavity, and she could give me a filling. I hesitated because I was only here for the promotion and did not want to spend any money. Dr. Vu saw my concern and explained to me the important of getting the filling. She was tough but very caring in her delivery. She even gave me another discount and helped with my payment plan. Overall, I had the best experience with Dr. Vu and the office. I recommend this office 100%!! Dr. Vu is tough in her speech, but she definitely cares about me and the hearth of my teeth!!! BEST DENTIST EVER!!

Went for a root canal last year. Was a great experience. Made an appointment for a cleaning and it was a nightmare. Please stay away!!!! This place is unprofessional, unorganized. Please! With dentist on every corner in Central Florida please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Do not reward these people with your buisness.

Went for a cleaning they ended up cutting my gums & bone of my teeth. When I went back and told them they told me to floss after floss and brush nothing works. I can't eat in public I have to have a stick everywhere I go food is in every corner of my teeth caused emotional, distress and shame.

This was my dental experience in recent memory! First and foremost, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was treated by Dr. Vu, and she was amazing. Her bedside manner was great, ensuring my comfort the entire time. She was very meticulous in her treatment and it was evident they care!

Had crown work done and was told crowns have a 5 year warranty. Crown broke during first year and when I went back and reported what had happened they did not take care of the issue as I was told they would. Also one of the filling they installed fell out. This happened to me and my daughter. They do not seem to stand behind their work. Also now I'm feeling the work is maybe not so good.

I was hesitant about a new dentist, but I am glad to have chosen Clermont Smile Dentistry. The staff has been friendly and explain any charges outside insurance coverage. The dentist was straight forward and explained everything that needed to be done to keep a healthy smile. The dentist hygienist Maria was exceptionally gentle and cleaned my teeth better than anyone has before. I would recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a clean and friendly dentistry.

Dr. Jai Patel's dental office is a rip off. I came in as a new patient for a routine cleaning and x-rays. They took several X-rays and a video of my teeth. Then they had me change rooms twice. After that the dentist came in the room stating "he would like to review my x-rays with me". He began to inform me that I have receding gums, periodontitis, three cavities and he was concerned about a previous root canal. He then explained that I would need to have deep cleanings every three months and a laser treatment that's not covered by insurance. He once again began poking and scraping on my teeth after asking additional questions. Well what do you know after the poking and scraping, now he tells me I have a cracked filling that needs to be repaired. After all of that he asked what services would I like to have completed today. I explained that I came for a routine cleaning and x-rays as a new patient. At this point my blood pressure was through the roof and my mind was all over the place. I explained to the dentist that I routinely have my teeth cleaned and examined. I stated that I have never been informed about any of the concerns you have stated. Usually I am x-rayed, cleaned and then the dentist comes in. They were pushing for me to have the fillings completed first and focus on the cleaning later, so I decided to leave. They gave me a two page list (front and back) of the recommended procedures. I couldn't get out of there fast enough and I will never return.

They over charged me for a basic cleaning claiming I have gingivitis (which I don't) and they charged me for "advanced x-rays" that's not covered under my insurance and failed to tell me that the X-rays weren't covered. The staff is friendly but that's so they can overcharge you behind your back.

Be very careful. They will charged you way more than they supposed to with so much reason. Check your dental statements and you'll be shocked. I suggest you run far away from this place since they don't care, they just wanted your money period.

Absolutely amazing. I haven't taken care of my dental problems for many years because of a really bad past experience. There are very few things I fear and dental work is at the top of my list. Dr. Vu took the time and patience to make sure I was comfortable before starting and did everything possible to help calm me because I was a nervous wreck.. I honestly couldn't be more grateful because I have literally suffered for the past 3 years with two teeth and it's finally over. And if I'm being honest, I was pretty embarrassed at the condition my teeth were in and they never made me feel any kind of way about it. They completely changed my mind about how I feel having dental work done.

Be very wary of this Dentist office. I would not recommend them. My wife, a friend of my wife's, and I all went to this office within 2 months of each other. They start out taking X-rays, then the dentist then comes in before any cleaning takes place and starts probing your gums checking recession. The Dentist then recommends a scaling and laser treatment which is not all covered by insurance. This has never happened to me in 40 years of routine preventative maintenance. The cleaning was always performed then the Dentist came in after. When I asked to proceed with the standard cleaning and we could revisit their recommendation on the next visit, they refused stating after they diagnose a certain treatment is necessary, they cannot perform the standard cleaning. They would not expose their staff to a standard cleaning since it was not their recommendation due to COVID. I called our insurance to advise of same and filed a grievance. Now I still do not have my preventative maintenance cleaning performed on my teeth and have the risk, pending the outcome of the grievance, I will have to pay out of pocket for it. I cannot believe I was refused standard preventative maintenance cleaning and basically given an ultimatum to spend extra money or not have my teeth cleaned at all. My wife and her friend are also filing grievances.

Best dentist office ever in my opinion. Check Yelp for my review. I can't express how lucky I am to have this office close to me. I'd travel 1000 miles to be seen by them. No insurance and affordable payment plans was key to me but the amount of care without insurance is beat by no one. I had two emergency situations one being a root canal and they fit me in right away and was really pain free. Don't let the stereotype get you down or fear the dentist. I held off on the root canal for so long fearing the dentist and I got a bad infection. My fiance forced me to go and I'm glad she did. Very clean very nice and they are honest and give you the choice of treatment and details of what each is without selling you on the most expensive thing they can offer. If you are in need of a dentist whether check up cleaning or anything else call them. They will help you.

I have my appointment at 5:00 and they call me the same day 2 hours before to change or reschedule the date of the appointment and I explained that it was not ethical to call the same day 2 hours before to make the change when I stop working early to be able to go to the appointment and the secretary was not professional, on the contrary, she was rude and disrespectful.
