Dr. Grace Garcia is a family practice Dentist who graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society. She completed her undergraduate studies at USF in Tampa where her family is located.
While growing up in her native country Colombia, she noticed how some of her loved ones suffered tremendously with low self-esteem due to their poor dental conditions. This was partly because not everyone had access to dental care and others had high dental anxiety which kept them away from visiting the Dentist.
These earlier experiences became her main driving force to pursue a career in Dentistry. She strongly believes that fear of the Dentist should not keep anyone from visiting the Dentist and achieving their dental goals.
Her main priority is to understand and help them achieve their dental goals and maintain their oral health through consistency, trust and compassion. She loves long-term relationships with her patients.
These included a Dental Mission Trip to Guatemala, the Mission of Mercy in Washington DC and the West Virginia Special Smiles annual event where she promoted positive oral health practices and dental screenings to special needs children.
