I had a great experience with clear retain. Making molds of my teeth with there kit and following the instructions went fine. It was a quick turn around time from them getting my molds to me getting my new retainers. They look awesome and fit perfectly! Super happy! Great company, product and price! FIND ANOTHER ONLINE RETAINER PROVIDER I've worn Invisalign-style retainers for almost a decade now at night, and I have only gone through two (now three) pairs in almost a decade. These broke in just five months. Conveniently, they cracked not too far outside their warranty window (as many other reviewers have noted). I was shipped a product where they admitted it wasn't quite molded correctly, but that if it fits, to keep it. It fit, but five months later cracked right where they indicated they messed up. Customer support refused to honor their mistake. This company, from what I can tell, facilitates an operation where they ship you an intentionally faulty product, then gives you a convenient minor discount for them to "fix" their own defect. This is deception and manipulation at its finest.

I was technically just outside their 60-day warranty period when I reported to them that one of my retainers cracked. I mean it was a few days, and it actually broke within the warranty period. They refused to budge on their absurdly short warranty period. My Invisilign retainers lasted for several years before wearing out, and never cracked. These brittle pieces of junk from ClearRetain do not last. Also, their customer service is poor and slow. Also, the process to make your retainers is extremely burdensome and slow. Do yourself a favor and get your retainers made by a real orthodontist. Or, if you decide to go with an online company, avoid this one at all costs. This company stinks.

I am a customer for life!! I am extremely pleased with the quality of the product, cost of the product, the respect and professionalism from ALL staff members and the end result! The quality of my upper retainer is better than what I received from my dentist and the cost was unbelievable. My dentist gave me a quote, for a new retainer, that over was $500.00, and then I found Clear Retain! This company is phenomenal and I want to personally thank everyone for giving me such a wonderful retainer!

Go somewhere else! Despite following the instructions, it seems like you have to wait days between emails and then they'll find something wrong. If you want to "try again", you have to buy more supplies from them. I'm pretty sure they only look to satisfy a small percentage of their requests and make it too burdensome on the others. This is a a very slow and frustrating company to work with and not worth it.

The customer service and care are extraordinary. They answered all my emails and my questions. It makes up for the tedious process that is trying to get a workable imprint. They did however send extra putty. But the level of concentration and trying to get the right impression was a real ordeal- and I am rather mechanically inclined, and am pretty crafty...so for folks who are not equipped with patience and lots of time for trial and error, this process is not for you. However once I got the impressions, they did a great job in sending the retainer, and even gave me a freebee due to the misunderstanding I had on the "file your smile" piece. Great, great company and great price. Glad they were here and made this possible rather than paying the dentist $500.

I've only been using the ClearRetain retainers for 2 months, but so far I have no complaints. The customer service was really good and responsive. The retainers themselves seem to be good quality. I like that I get to keep my molds so I can send them to ClearRetain when I need a new pair of retainers (rather than redoing the molds). I was a little hesitant to try ClearRetain and thought that most of the reviews were fake, but I honestly have nothing bad to say about ClearRetain. Update: been a customer for more than 1 year now and reordered new sets of retainers as backup. Great and fast customer service!

Total scam. I followed the directions and they kept telling me it was wrong. I kept buying more putty to do it over again and they still said it was wrong. Total waste of money.

Just received my retainers from ClearRetain so this review may update in the future to reflect on daily usage. Opened up the retainers and tried them on right away, they fit great! They definitely feel very snug but I think that is a good thing. The process of making the impressions was relatively challenging, but you can order extra putty and return them for a refund if you end up not using them. I ended up using all the extra putty, and my impressions were unable to be approved for making. However, they noticed that the largest impression tray that I was using was too narrow for my teeth. They kindly sent me an extra large impression tray and extra putty for free. Which I received and tried again; it was a success! Overall, I think their service is great, easy enough to do, and they can be trusted. I saved a decent amount of money using ClearRetain instead of my local orthodontist to make my retainers. Would highly recommend!

Long frustrating process they may charge an arm and a leg at the ortho to get a new set of retainers but it's worth it because you'll spend about that much in putty at this company re-doing the impressions over and over plus waiting days for them to be approved is so frustrating do not order from here if you are in need of a new retainer quickly your teeth will shift dramatically before you receive your new retainer from this company

this is my first time ordering from this company and i will gladly order from them again. from start to finish their customer service was great. timely response to emails sent to them. the retainer quality is actually pretty good for the price. don't hesitate !!

Customer service is top-notch, although I ended up getting a refund. If you need a retainer made and are adventurous, give them a try. Just make sure to order lots of extra putty.

I lost my retainers that I've had for over 15 years and didn't want to pay hundreds for another set. When researching, I had reservations about Clear Retain at first but decided to give them a try after seeing their Black Friday specials in addition to reading the reviews. They were very helpful in answering my questions. Got my retainers and they fir perfectly! They even give you your original molds along with your new retainers in case you need another set made. I'm very pleased with their service!!
