This place is a joke. Was scheduled here for emergency wisdom extraction because I guess the Robbins Dale location doesn't do them? I called a day before because I wasn't sure if I'd be sedated or needed to fast before the appointment, the lady at the front desk sounded very inexperienced and had no idea and just said 'oh no we don't do that' and then just hung up Anyway, my appointment got rescheduled literally the day of the appointment about an hour before. I was pretty upset because I already had to wait a week to get in and now they cancelled on me SUPER last minute after i had taken time off work and They then left me a voicemail to get in contact with them to reschedule it at a different location (not sure which since they other locations referred me here). Well they never called me back OR answered my phone call. I had to go somewhere else to get it removed and paid out of pocket. U was hoping this would be my new dentist but seeing as to how they manage the place I'd suggest going anywhere but here.

The staff are kind, professional and highly efficient. They made me feel calm, they do a wonderful and careful job.

The staff were friendly and only sat in the waiting room for a few minutes. I really don't no how there service's are cause I am waiting for my follow up.

Wow! The reviews are so correct!! Outstanding front desk and dental assistants! Wonderful patient, kind and respectful people. The best that I've ever dealt with in a dental office. However Dr. Holland is completely worthy of never seeing ever again. He's a jerk and he makes people uncomfortable. And he enjoys it. Take your money and your appointment elsewhere.

Desk and assistants are wonderful, very kind and comforting. However the dentist at the St. Paul location in the Condordia building was awful. During my extractions (I had my 3 molar in and a wisdom tooth removed) he was very rough, stubborn and damaged my neighboring teeth. Not to mention I one tooth was abscessed and needed to fully be removed, he had trouble removing it and instead of referring me to a surgeon he instead just dremmeled the top of the tooth. The infected root is still there and he entirely neglected to tell me this, discharged me the fastest ive ever been discharged and left. Now I am left to deal with getting a surgery to remove the roots after he so negligently wrecked my mouth. To amplify the severity of the situation, they did not even bother to write a prescription for antibiotics after I called to inform them that I had a bad taste in my mouth from the extraction site and merely made me another appointment so they could look at it. An appointment in which they had rescheduled! Dont risk your oral health here. Not worth it.

The dental hygenists and staff would get a five star review if I could rate them separately. Some of the most kind and professional people I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The first thing that happens when you arrive at Clear Lakes is you are greeted by someone who is genuinely happy to get you checked in and help you out however they can. There must be some good work culture going on here since everyone appears to be enthusiastic and personable all the time. If you're anxious about getting dental work done, the awesome hygenists, assistants, and other staff will undoubtedly ease your worries as you check in for your appointment. However, Dr. Holland is unprofessional and disrespectful. I will be certain to see someone else at CLD's lovely facilities. Holland has misgendered me more times than I care to count after myself and other staff have stated my pronouns several times. Compared to the other staff, it feels very intentional and like he is making sure I hear him say he and him instead of the pronouns that should be on my chart. One of the hygenists even emphasized my pronouns when talking to him, pausing to emphasize "she" and "her", to passively let him know he is misgendering me and he disregarded this completely. I came to this clinic being very transparent about my poor dental hygiene and stated that I wanted to get back on track. I have never pretended to have good habits and have always been honest when they ask me questions. The hygenists are positive and hopeful. They don't shame me for my bad habits and encourage me to be better for my own sake and health. Holland quite obviously judges me for my habits, and shamed me for them, with a disparaging tone that completely erased all feelings of being welcome that the hygenists had established.

Wisdom tooth extraction: basically pain free! Receptionist, nurse, and doctor were friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend Clear Lakes Dental.

I had low expectations because I've had awful experiances in the past. I figured it was just the way the industry was. I've had a handful of appointments at the midway clinic to address much needed restorative treatment. I have dental anxiety but Dr. Holland is on point with his pain free abilities. He is gental and patient. I didn't feel shamed or judged. It's been a long road but I'm forever greatful for Dr. Holland and his team for restoring my teeth and trust in the dental practice. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with anxiety.

Just a great dental visit, imagine that! I was extremely anxious and Xiong and Dr Holland put me at ease. (Sorry if I spelt her name wrong). I felt comfortable and in good hands. Also had another dental issue and that was looked at as well which is extremely helpful. Now I can move forward instead of letting this infection go untreated. Thank you thank you so much I truly appreciate you both. I would definitely recommend both of them.!!!

I give 5 stars to the front desk staff and dental hygienist and assistant. They were all attentive, skilled, knowledgable and kind throughout my experience. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Dr. Holland. I was not comfortable in his care, even for the short time we interacted. At one point he had his mask off while talking with me and I had to ask him to put it back on properly (This is basic stuff at this point in the pandemic, especially from a dentist working with patients who are unable to be masked during the appointment.) His response to me asking him to wear his mask properly was "I'm vaccinated". His overall manner throughout my appointment was condescending and did not show care or presence for his patient. I highly recommend he look into some skill building for listening and communicating with patients. I will be back to this location as the other staff were great, but will make sure to request another dentist to work with. I recommend others to do the same.
