Our doors opened for the first time in 1967 when Dr. John Gholson started the practice. In 2007, after 40 years of providing the Nashville community with fantastic care, Dr. Gholson sold the practice to Dr. Ashley Clayton, who was working there as an associate at the time. Dr. Clayton has made it his mission to carry on the legacy of providing patients with outstanding care from trustworthy, friendly professionals in an environment where the whole family will feel comfortable.
He logged more than 400 hours of implant specific lectures and training to become one of Middle Tennessees experts in the field. His hard work earned him recognition as an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) at the 2016 Annual Conference. Dr. Clayton surpassed the required 300 hours of postdoctoral education in the field of implant dentistry. He successfully performed implant cases, and he passed the AAIDs examination.
Dr. Grant Diffee graduated from the University School of Jackson high school in 2009 and from Mississippi State University in 2013. He also received his Masters of Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2015. Dr. Diffee attained his DMD from The University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2019. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Molly, new daughter Grace and their two dogs, Jackson and Henry. He also enjoys golfing, being outdoors, and watching all types of sports.
