While still in Dental School, Dr.Finley joined the US Navy as an Ensign in the US Navy Reserves. Upon graduation, he went to full active duty in the Navy Dental Corps. Among numerous duty stations in the 8 years as a Lieutenant Commander he served as an Anesthesia Support Officer 1st Marine Division, 1st FSSG Desert Shield/Storm 1990-91 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Since 1997 Dr. Finley has been in private practice in Melbourne, Florida with an emphasis on Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry. He is an active member in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the Brevard County Dental Society, Academy of Gernral Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry along with numerous Study Clubs. Dr. Finley has been a guest lecturer to numerous dentists throughout the years.

Dr. FINLEY and his entire staff were very professional and caring. I experienced a very pleasant and comfortable dental visit. He fixed my broken tooth after explaining the diagnostics, likely cause, and prevention of future issues. His light-hearted and calming demeanor was only matched by his expertise and attention to details. 5 stars for the entire practice!

Dr. Finley is very nice and professional. He did a great job with my 2 broken teeth. I am a wimp and he was very gentle. His novocaine injections did not hurt at all. My teeth look perfect, like they are my own. Terri was very helpful with billing, she had to send appeal letters in to get the insurance to pay. The techs in the back were very nice and helpful.

When asked to stop performing dental work on my elder grandmother he laughed at her and spoke about other patients my grandmothers dental work was completely wrong and she had to go somewhere else to get it fixed the worst dentist in the county anywhere is better do not come here

I was referred to Dr. Finley by a nurse practitioner after experiencing a tooth issue soon after moving to the area. As others have said, I am very impressed with the entire team, from the front desk to Dr. Finley himself. He has a great chairside manner that is very reassuring . The office is modern and the staff is very pleasant. They also seem to do a great job of upholding their appointment times. That in itself is refreshing to me.

My mom went here for dental implants. Several have fallen out and the office hasn't been responsive to help her. She paid a lot of money for these implants and it wasn't that many years ago. Implants should last much longer and the office should stand behind their work.

Very very impressed. I am a "snow bird" and had an emergency with a broken tooth.I was given an appointment The same day I called, (3 days before Christmas). Receptionist and dental assistants were very friendly and thorough . Dr Finley was professional and had a great "bed side manor", I felt very comfortable and was impressed with his Skill. I would definitely. Recommend him to anyone in need of his services.
