Our dental office was established in 1968 and has served Gahannas families for over 50 years! Drs. Brooke Buller and Clayton Odenweller strive to continue this legacy, providing exceptional and compassionate care to people of Gahanna and beyond. Today, you may know our dental office as Claybrooke Dental of Gahanna, but it still embodies our original principles of care.

Our dentists, Drs. Brooke Buller & Clayton Odenweller are both graduates of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and have years of diverse experience under their belts. They are passionate about what they do and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in their field, from technology to treatment techniques. For Dr. Buller, when it comes to what she loves most about her work, theres almost too many things to count. She finds it extremely rewarding to work together with a top-tier staff to improve patients oral health in a judgment-free atmosphere and getting to spend time with her partner, Dr. Clay, every day is amazing too! Ever since she can remember, Dr. Buller has had a strong interest in science, art, and math. Because her mom was a teacher, she was sent to many different camps throughout her childhood. Sometimes, they were a total bust, like engineering camp and space camp but she really enjoyed medical camp. Separately, her family dental office was a husband/wife team with four girls who were close in age to Dr. Buller and her siblings, which meant they spent lots of time together even outside of the treatment chair, which gave her more insight into oral healthcare. Over the years, she realized that her interests and skills really aligned with the dental field, complimenting her creativity, artistic talent, and love of science and the rest is history!

Dr. Buller attended The Ohio State University for both her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Life Sciences) and her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Since graduation, she has pursued a great deal of continuing education, focusing particularly on specialty services like BOTOX, Invisalign, and other clear aligner orthodontics as well as management of complex cases, including full-arch dental implant restorations. She is a long-time member of Spear Education, along with the Academy of General Dentistry, other local study clubs, and various dental networking/collaborative groups.

Dr. Bullers parents are both from Ohio and actually met while attending Kent State University. She is the oldest of three girls and the first person in her family to work in dentistry! She and Dr. Clay met while attending dental school at Everest Gear, an outdoor outfitters store. They were acquaintances for several years before they fell in love in the dental school computer lab. Currently, they live in Merion Village with their dog Kenzie.

When she isnt busy improving teeth, some of Dr. Bullers favorite hobbies include practicing yoga, traveling (especially outside of the US), playing piano, knitting, and taking long walks with Kenzie. Additionally, she and Dr. Clay have started their own book club, and they also have a beautiful backyard, vegetable garden, and butterfly garden thats currently exploding with praying mantids. Theyve recently gotten into vermiculture and composting!

For Dr. Clay, what matters most about dentistry is the people. The work itself is plenty enjoyable, but helping people achieve their overall health and wellness goals is his passion. Meeting and getting to know individuals from all different walks of life keeps things interesting and rewarding, and for Dr. Clay is the icing on the cake. Dr. Clay originally went to college with plans to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery. While he took MCAT prep courses, he ultimately fell out of love with medicine and switched his major to exercise science, even doing research on triathletes and high-end training principles. However, at the urging of his Aunt Beth (who worked as a dentist in Dublin), he decided to spend a few weeks accompanying her and many of the dental specialists she worked with to discover what the field was all about. The experience was inspiring in more ways than one!

After taking the DAT, Dr. Clay achieved a solid score that got him accepted into Ohio State, and everything flowed smoothly from there. Today, hes honestly so grateful for all the support hes had along the way, and he feels lucky to have found a profession that he loves more and more every single day.

After graduating from Miami University, Dr. Clay achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Ohio State University. Since then, he has pursued a great deal of advanced training to further expand his skillset. Most notably, he has undergone one-on-one surgical training in implant dentistry from the Midwest Implant Institute and the Spectrum Dental Society Implant Mini-Residency. He is also highly active in online, group, and in-person learning through Spear Education.

Dr. Clay and Dr. Buller have been together for over a decade now, and they have a Boston Terrier named Kenzie who occasionally even accompanies them to the dental office and helps with patient outreach! In his free time, he really enjoys reading a good book (especially philosophy or science fiction/fantasy), writing, and playing sports like soccer, softball, and volleyball. Hes definitely a big movement enthusiast and stays busy with activities like yoga, rollerblading, and longboarding. As a pair, he and Dr. Buller particularly love traveling and have also started a vegetable garden, where theyre definitely learning on the fly.
