LyndaWitzkyis a Registered Dental Hygienist whograduatedfrom Baylor Dental Hygiene School in Dallas, Texas in 1988. She was a medical missionary with Mercy Ships for 5 years and joined Dr. Cannons office full time in 2010.
Maridel is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2005. She moved to East Texas in 2012 and has been filling in for our hygienist as needed.
In January 2018 she became a permanent part of our team. Maridel has two children and loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys serving along side her husband at Van Community Church.
Rosa is a Registered Dental Assistant who speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and Jamamadi. She joined our team in October 2018. Rosa was born in el Salvador C.A. and lived in New York City as a teenager for five years before moving to Texas.
She attended TJC where she met her husband. Together they served as missionaries for 23 years in the Amazon rain forest of Brazil. They have two grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law and two grandsons. Rosa enjoys being involved at church, reading, walking and spending time with her grandsons, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Cindy grew up in deep east Texas in Shelby county. After high school, she attended Panola College and later continued her education through Grand Canyon University. She has worked in many different industries including: church ministry, education and as the owner of a bakery and bookstore.
Cindy joined Dr. Cannon's office in March 2022 as the new receptionist and scheduling coordinator prior to Karen McClenny's retirement. Cindy has four adult children, enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is active in her church. She also loves travel, live theatre productions and music events.
Dr. Cannon is married to his high-school sweetheart, Tammy, and they have eight children. He attended Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M before entering the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1990. After graduating in 1994, he completed one year of advanced training in general dentistry also in San Antonio.
Dr. Cannon went on to practice for seven years out of state, both in private practice and as an officer in the United States Air Force, before returning to East Texas in 2002. He enjoys his work as a dentist and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, implants and TMJ disorders. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Brock was raised in Tyler and is married to his high-school sweetheart, Hannah. They welcomed their son, Garrett, in June of 2020. Dr. Brock received a Bachelor's in Biology and a Master's in Molecular Pathology from Texas Tech University. He then attended an internship at the Mayo Clinic, followed by two years of employment at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Brock graduated from UT Health San Antonio Dental School with Higher Honors and distinctions in Teaching and Research. In addition, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental society. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is particularly interested in cosmetics, tooth replacement and surgery. Dr. Brock joined the practice in June 2021. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
