Dr. Garcia received his undergraduate degree from Berry College, in Rome, Georgia. He then went on to attend the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After earning his dental degree in 1986, he returned home to Central Florida where he has since cared for countless patients throughout the years.
Dr. Garcia is a devoted family man and is happily married since 1985, to his dental school sweetheart, Sandi, from Titusville, Florida. Sandi has a B.S. in Nursing and is currently a homemaker. They have two wonderful children:

Dr. Jim Flatley is a comprehensive dentist with 45 years experience in virtually all phases of general dentistry. He practiced dentistry in the US Navy for 23 years and is a retired Navy Captain. His Navy assignments include Pearl Harbor, Great Lakes, Annapolis, Puerto Rico, USS Canopus in Charleston, Jacksonville, and of course... Orlando, where he also served as the Naval Dental Centers Executive Officer.
Jim attended Marquette University School of Dentistry (Milwaukee) and Regis College (Denver). He also holds an MS in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Florida. He began his Navy career with a 1-year general practice dental residency at Great Lakes Naval Hospital and later attended the Navy Postgraduate Dental School (Bethesda, MD) for an additional 1- year residency in advanced clinical dentistry.
Dr. Flatley has a unique dental family. His father and grandfather were dentists in his hometown of Kenosha, WI. Dr. Flatley's wife, Pam, was a dental hygienist. He has a sister who is also a hygienist and she is also married to a dentist. Another sister is a dental assistant in Wisconsin. Dr. Flatley's stepmother was a hygienist - her late husband was a dentist, as are her two sons. At family functions, members of the clan try not to talk about dentistry, if at all possible! The Flatleys have a twin son and daughter who are grown and have pursued careers outside of dentistry. He and wife Pam are the proud grandparents of four boys and a girl.
Dr. Flatley recently served as President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando and has been a delegate to the Florida Dental Association. He continues involvement with membership in the Central District Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Flatley enjoys family time, church activities, reading, following politics, and participating in many sports activities. He and his partner, Dr. Garcia, are good buddies who genuinely enjoy working together, collaborating on complex dental cases, or just meeting for lunch. We are both eager to welcome our newest dentist into the Classic Dental family, Dr. Michelle Bargfrede.
Dr. Michelle Bargfrede grew up in South Florida. She obtained a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida, and a M.S. in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, Florida. She then earned her dental degree from the University of Florida. Dr Bargfrede began her dental career with a one-year General Practice Residency at the Malcolm Randall Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. While providing advanced dental care to the Veterans of North Florida/South Georgia, she also gained experience in treating intellectually disabled patients in a clinical and hospital setting.
In 2010, Dr. Bargfrede met her husband, Tim, at UCF. They maintained a long distance relationship throughout Dr. Bargfrede's education and training (Tim put 100,000 miles on his car in the last two years alone!!!). Dr. Bargfrede is thrilled to be working in Lake Mary, the city where her husband grew up. They both enjoy cooking, skiing, biking, running, and golfing. You can also find them cheering on the Knights at UCF football games.
Dr. Bargfrede enjoys volunteering - locally and internationally. She has been on dental mission trips to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Dominican Republic. She also serves as a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Orlando and Academy of General Dentistry.

After seeing a few dentists in the area, our friend recommended Dr Flatley. Hands down BEST dentist my husband and I have ever seen. Hub's fillings are still intact and smooth years later (unlike ones received from other dentists). We liked his proactive approach and his listening ears. We are so upset we had to move away and are seriously considering driving 6 hours just to see Dr Flatley.

Tasha and Dr. Bargfrede are simply great! Wonderful people and gave me a full examination and a few tests to determine the correct way to proceed about taking care of my teeth (opposed to another dentistry that tried to tell me I needed 3 root canals just based off x-rays without doing any tests or full examinations). I also just recently had Peri and Dr. Butch Garcia helping me out and they are wonderful and make sure you leave satisfied as could be. Highly recommend Classic Dental.

Excellent Dentist practice!! Dr. Bargfrede is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The staff is welcoming, provides excellent service, and genuinely cares about their patient's wellbeing. I highly recommend them.

Amazing facility! Everyone is very nice and kind and go out of their way to make sure you get the best care. I'm in the process of getting dentures and they are very patient with me and have helped so much with the process. Definitely recommend going here for any dental needs!

I visited Dr. Michelle Bargfrede for evaluation of two veneers placed by a general dentist 2 years ago. Cosmetically they were awful and causing a lot of discomfort. Dr. Bargfrede and her dental assistant JoJo made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. My veneers were removed and two new crowns placed that look amazing! I am thankful and impressed with the talent and professionalism I experienced in this office. Would highly recommend!

I will not recommended to go the classic dental. 1) They Claim were reject by the Mets-life insurances. 2) They just know the dental cleaning , For other service like root canal, they refer to other dental doctor, For my root canal treatment , Classis dental takes six months and I refer three different doctor. My Treatment done on September 2019 and paid all my dues but now in 2021 they are asking more money for the my treatment.

My wife went to Classic Dental this afternoon to get a crown reattached, ended up paying $248 out of pocket for simply gluing it on the tooth. She was told she had to pay $149 for x-ray even if she doesn't want to and refuse to take it. This is a rip-off. I reported this to BBB as well. Updated on 11DEC2020, it is not resolved with the help of BBB. It now goes to Florida Board of Dentistry.

I'm a Blue shield Medicare plan. When I made my appointment according to the network with my insurance Classic Dental its participating. When I go first visit, they mislead me saying I will get a discounted rate. My insurance call them and they said to them they are no longer taking Medicare...WHY in the World they didn't tell me when I made the appointment? They wanted me to get in and end up paying for the first DISCOUNTED visit. I call that HUNGRY for money no matter how. I can't imagine what they do to their actual patients. Oh! and no professional at customer service only a sweet colombian lady was very nice, the rest are useless and unprofessional.

I had 3 crowns that all had to be re- done after 3 years. One had a loose distal margin, the other kept popping off ( 3 times) and one was loose causing the cement to wear down and decay to start underneath. I tried several times to have them correct the errors but ended up going elsewhere ( lake mary dental, Dr Fuller) to finally get it straight. Needless to say that I've paid $$$$;no consequence for classic dental except for this review.

Don't waste your time, literally. First appointment is a consultation and when you go to book, they'll tell you they are booked for three months out ... no one is open or honest in the upfront. Well decided to come back after I got 'squeezed in' and went for my 6 month check-in to which I was greeted with 'we tried calling to reschedule you'. If there are no calls/missed calls or voicemails of you attempting to reach out to patients and you confirm your appointment via text, seems like you need a new front desk staff. Tried rescheduling me to another time but people make appointments based off work and our own personal schedules. I'll be making an appointment for another dentist and staff who know how to keep track of schedules and treat people like people. Not one 'sorry'. Well here is your sorry, don't waste your time.
