We are proud that every staff member has had extensive dental training from our front desk personnel to our clinical staff. Our training includes: dental hygiene and dental assisting school, radiology, local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation, expanded restorative functions, CPR and medical emergency training, and dental insurance coding and billing.

Payment for professional services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan that fits your timetable and budget and also gives your child the best possible care.

During your first visit, you will be introduced to our Pediatric Dental Team, given an office tour and and given an opportunity to discuss your child's unique smile and ways to keep it beautiful for years to come.

Depending on the age of your child, he or she will either be given a knee-to-knee examination (where your babys head will rest on our doctors knee while their body is on your lap) or a regular exam in the doctors chair.

Oral hygiene instructions will also be given with suggestions to help your child care for their own teeth. In most cases, we will also clean their teeth on this visit, and provide an evaluation that will outline any existing dental problems and proposed treatment.

A Pediatric Dentist is a specialist dedicated to the oral health of children and the monitoring of their facial growth and development. Our office is designed for treating children from infancy through adolescence, as well as the medically and the physically compromised. In our opinion, taking your child to see a pediatric dental specialist is as important as taking them to see a pediatrician.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry encourages parents and other care providers to help every child establish a dental home by 12 months of age. Establishing a dental home provides some key components to dental care for your child including...

This includes proper brushing, flossing and eating habits, ideal fluoride levels and the use of pit and fissure sealants. We strive to provide a fun, educational environment whose children learn about the importance of good dental hygiene.

This includes childrens fillings, crowns and prosthesis, including treatment of the often devastating nursing bottle decay. We are committed to discussing all options before these procedures and answering all questions you may have. Always working for the goal of a healthy smile is our first priority.

While our goal is to prevent dental emergencies, we understand that the need for urgent dental care is sometimes necessary and can be a stressful experience for both parents and children. We strive to handle dental emergencies promptly and with compassion.

Dr. Beauchamp was raised in Oak Ridge Tennessee. She practiced dental hygiene for seven years then returned to school. She earned her D.D.S. degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She then completed a two year pediatric residency. In 1993 she came to Clarksville to work with Dr. Price Hopson until he retired then she established Clarksville Pediatric Dentistry, PC in 1999.

She is an advocate for childrens dental health. She is board certified in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry. She has served on several advisory panels for the state of TN regarding dental care of children and special needs, including the TennCare Medical Care Advisory Committee.

She is very involved in local, state and national dental societies. Dr. Beauchamp is currently the Secretary/Treasurer for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has also served in other capacities. She has served on the American Dental Association Council of Government Affairs and on the Council of Access, Prevention and Interprofessional Relations. She was a representative on an Advisory Committee of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations for the ADA as well. She is active with the Tennessee Dental Association, currently serving as the Secretary and on the Government Affairs Committee. She is past president for the Tennessee Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

The staff has so much patience working with kids. Jan cleaned my son's teeth for his first appointment. She took the time to explain what she was doing and let him get familiar before she proceeded. Dr. Beauchamp does an amazing job, I highly recommend!

Great office but the video games are STILL shut off due to Covid which is really annoying and doesn't make a lot of sense. If the games aren't going to be turned back on then consider uninstalling them so the kids don't have to beg. Also the kids used to receive balloons after each visit which was a nice touch. We did not get those this last visit. Please tell me that's not per Covid as well?!? At some point we have to question taking these things from kids in the name of Covid! When do we stop this insanity? Other than all that nonsense this place is the best around!!

They have new staff....longer than usual waiting time...very concerned to let me know how much the visit would cost (self pay..no insurance) $485.00 for cleaning & sealant on four teeth & flouride treatment...ask to fill out paperwork that I had already done on line at there request...& then told he should probably start going to an adults dentist now. He is 16 & has been seen there since he was 3. Dr. Beauchamp is absolutely the best pediatric dentist anywhere...but I didn't see her there & I don't know that my grandson did....my feelings were hurt to say the least....not impressed with the new staff of the very best dentist I have ever met....

The lady who assisted my son before Dr. Beauchamp came in was excellent. I just know my son was talking her head off but she was very engaging and she just loved his conversation and I was laughing at my son as well. The overall experience was absolutely amazing! I just want to say thank you all!

If your not into dealing with complicated people and paperwork don't waste your time coming here. Staff completely rude and unnecessary.
