Dr. Steinweg graduated from Owings Mills High School, the University of Maryland College Park. At College Park he studied Biological Sciences, completing his full degree in three academic years. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore and achieved the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. While in Dental school he served as a chair in Psi Omega dental fraternity and was enrolled in a special clerkship program where he received a wealth of additional training in patient management, sedation, and oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures. He has a passion for music and enjoys playing piano, guitar and Caribbean steel drums. He also enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and building models.
Dr. Steinweg's approach is to provide his patients a dental experience exactly the way he would want to experience it himself. As a result, every treatment plan is personalized and tailored to your needs, desires and comfort level, and always in a pleasant and caring atmosphere.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Stienweg and staff. I trust this dentist's recommendations and he has good chair side manners.

Hands down best dentist ever, very rare. Dr. Steinweg is the only dentist I have come across that truly cares for his patients, he assures that each patient understands the issue they came in with. He is completely honest and will work with you to figure out how to move forward with whatever you may have going on.

After having a dental procedure done by Dr. Steinweg, I realized that I'd never encountered a dentist actually passionate about their work. Bonus: he's pretty good at it, too. I've had a dentist drill a cavity without any novocaine before, so I recognize how important a quality dentist can be. My family is so thankful to have found this practice!

After having a dental procedure done by Dr. Steinweg, I realized that I'd never encountered a dentist actually passionate about their work. Bonus: he's pretty good at it, too. Dr Chris Steinweg was absolutely fantastic in my visit.He was checking every few minutes how i was doing during the cleaning process.Highly recommend Clarksville Crossing Dental.

I have been a patient of Dr. Varsha Shah's for many years (long before 2014 when they apparently became "Clarksville Crossing Dental"). I have been totally pleased with her professionalism, dental procedures, friendly warm personality and all her office staff. I am 88 years old and have never had a root canal; I have had several crowns and finishes. I can whole-heartily recommend Dr. Shah and Clarksville Crossing Dental.

I used to dread going to the dentist!! Now, going to Clarksville Crossing Dental in Clarksville, MD is always a great experience. The folks there are so friendly, professional and have the latest in technology. The office is immaculate! Never have to sit and wait beyond my appointment time. Had to order a new Invisalign and they don't even use those Yucky plaster molds for the impressions. 3-D scan is used for orthodontics, crowns, bridges etc. Was in and out in 10 minutes! Dr. Steinweg puts you immediately at ease and is so gentle. He knows all the most modern techniques but still delivers the old world customer service we all love yet hard to find these days!

I used to dread going to the dentist!! Now, going to Clarksville Crossing Dental in Clarksville, MD is always a great experience. It has been years for my wife and I, since we were last at this office. I felt only recently compelled to write this review to warn folks of our experience. We both had stellar dental treatment here and unfortunately that comfort was used to convince us to allow the dentist to perform endodontic work on both of us. We both allowed the dentist to perform root canals which they never should have. We have both now had issues and in both cases our current dentist told us the root canals were improperly performed. I had a do over root canal and the endodontist said the dentist should not have performed these services and she did so incorrectly. My wife is now facing an extraction with the same diagnosis. So I am certain they offer great cleaning and cavity services but I would avoid having endodontia performed in their office. Finally in hindsight, the dentist spent hours on my root canal over several appointments. The endodontist was in and out in under an hour and I've had no issues.
